So far, it looks like the match may be decided on court 1.

Congrats to UCLA. All games were very close. Wish they let all the games finish out because it looked to be going in the way of 3-2 UCLA

Congrats to UCLA. All games were very close. Wish they let all the games finish out because it looked to be going in the way of 3-2 UCLA For the NCAA tournament, I like it when the remaining matches are suspended after it has been clinched (they do this in tennis too). If it were the regular season, I prefer that they finish the matches out too.

Absolutely agree on finishing the matches during the regular season. These players can only benefit, barring injury, from extra volleyball.

So random question but, when there are 5 games going on how does a schools coaching staff make sure that each game has a coach for each game? Ex ucla has Metzger, and 2 asst coaches. But when all 5 games go on simultaneously (they are bound to overlap at some point) what do the coaches do? Just leave a couple games to the players? I was curious about this as well. Anyone have an answer??

Why is this always played in Alabama, of all places? Was North Dakota unavailable? Do they draw many fans there? It seems like a natural for So Cal, the hotbed of beach volleyball. Alabama has beautiful beaches too. Yeah, but they are in ALABAMA

With a staggered start the coaches get a little extra time to try and cover but they have to pick and choose their spots as they cannot adequately cover five with three.

Does anyone know what the score was on court 5 (Buechler/Consani vs. Homayum/Rooks) when the match was halted?

imo.
There couldn't be a worst collective representation of schools reflected on TruTV (the LA schools, Florida and Hawaii). Hawaii was out early, so again it's down to FSU, LA, $C on national broadcast. Beach schools. All of em across the street and down the block from sand and ocean.
Boring.
