I was just thinking: If Iowa had held on to its 9-6 lead in the 5th against Minn., and if the rest of the weekend matches went according to rankings and Pablo, i.e., Neb over Minn and Wis over Iowa, then Iowa and Minn would have both finished the first half of the conference season tied at 6-4, with Iowa with the edge b/c of the head to head victory. This is some league.

On Monday I have AVCA Poll; 1 Nebraska 2 Minnesota 5 Wisconsin 10 Penn State 13 Michigan 14 Michigan State 18 Ohio State 20 Illinois 22 Purdue
All of the above going to the tournament, and possibly Iowa as well.

Are you putting USD in front of the Badgers?
Tough call since Badgers beat them; but...Badgers are clearly a few steps below 4 in the overall universe.

Probably, but Minnesota is the toughest team Nebraska has played (all respect to tOSU who beat them, but the Huskers avenged that without much trouble) and deserve that ranking.

I suppose your right, but Minnesota has been on the road for a month, all against ranked teams, won 2(beat #1 Wisconsin) and lost 2 tie-breakers(against #1 again). I would like to see Texas, play 4 ranked BIG teams, in a row, on the road. If these are all tournament games on neutral sites, Minnesota has a chance at a NC.

Not saying it's right or wrong, but I think TX will be 2.

For Illinois, next four matches are on the road: Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan State, and Michigan. Then the Illini host: Wisconsin and Minnesota. Illini winning 3 or more of the 6 matches would a successful 6 match strettccchhhh. That's a rough uphill stretch of road for sure

Honestly, I have watched San Diego play I think 3 times this year, and not entire matches. But what I saw I would put them only ahead of Purdue, unless Purdue passes well that match, then San Diego would be fighting against Iowa. Non BIG teams that look legit, Washington, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Kansas and UCLA. Add these to the top 8 BIG teams and you have the top 15. Wildcard is Stanford, if they get healthy and form a lineup.
