Looking at the rest of the schedule, I could see a scenario where NEB/MINN/WIS all finish with 3 losses. Minnesota already has 3, but the toughest matches they have left are at home. NEB still has to play PSU twice. One of them is this Fri in Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions have lost 4 in a row. I think they'll be fired up to knock off Nebraska. Ask the Gophers how tough it is playing there. And then in a couple of weeks NEB goes to MN. WIS also plays at MINN the last week. A loss there would give them 3 losses (assuming they don't get upset before then). Only 3 losses in a row so far for PSU. First time since 2002. Let's say Penn State wins out. That means three losses for Nebraska and Penn State. Co-champions, or does PSU get some sort of tie-breaker (winning both matchups)?

I think Minnesota will beat Nebraska and Wisconsin at home... so if PSU somehow won out and handed losses 2 and 3 to Nebraska, Minnesota could be the Husker's fourth loss. PSU finishes 17-3, Minnesota finishes 17-3, Wisconsin finishes 17-3 and Nebraska finishes 16-4 and in 4th place? That would be insane. Improbable, but fun to think about. The crazy outcomes an unbalanced schedule can bring. In this situation, the three 17-3 schools would all be crowned conference champions and Minnesota would get the AQ by virtue of best record against the teams tied (MN would be 3-1, UW & PSU would be 1-2)
