Also, and this is driving me nuts, it's "losses" not "loses". There's that fine THE Ohio State University education for you Who has time to actually proofread anything they type?

Here's the breakdown of Big Ten wins since Maryland and Rutgers have entered the conference: Indiana-15 Iowa-13 Northwestern-13 Maryland-9 Rutgers-1
It will be interesting to see how the rest of the year plays out, given the results of tonight's match.

Ohio State, meet Illinois. Illinois, you've got company. Screw that... only thing keeping the Buckeyes up was the lack of a terrible loss and the win over Nebraska... it's straight to Choo Choo land and Tier 5 for them

Rutgers should move up a few ten thousand tiers after giving Nebraska a scare. Interesting shakeup ahead in this week's edition.

New week, new rankings!
Tier 1: Nebraska-Their talent is unmatched. Minnesota-Had opportunities to beat an amazing Nebraska team at home. Schedule is way more favorable from this point.
Tier 2: Penn State-Should have opportunities to move up in the coming weeks. Wisconsin-One match at home in Carlini's senior year doesn't make you a great team, Bucky.
Tier 3: Michigan State-Still teetering between tier 2 and 3. Illinois- Haven't shone enough to move down
Tier 4: Michigan- Indiana?! Really? Purdue-Let's get some consistency, eh? Ohio State- Recovered very nicely after the Maryland loss. Iowa- Show me something, anything, Iowa.
Tier 5: Indiana-Nice win over Michigan Maryland- Nice win over Ohio State
Tier 6: Northwestern- Nice win over Purdue, I guess?
Tier Rutgers: Rutgers- Way to score more than 20 points!!!!

One match at home doesn't promote you a tier, Testudo.
What's Illinois doing up there? Iowa beat them, but yet you said they show nothing.
Tier 1 (well above the next): Nebraska- Minnesota- Penn State-
Tier 2: Wisconsin- I know, just beat PSU. Still slightly inconsistent, and not dominant like those above (present weekend excepted, PSU).
Tier 3: Michigan State- Michigan - yeah, I know they lost to Indiana.
Tier 4 (the messy tier): Illinois Purdue Ohio State Iowa
Tier 5 (you don't quite stoop to Tier 6): Indiana
Tier 6: Northwestern- Maryland-
Tier Rutgers: Rutgers-

He is stuck in his turtle shell, having problems looking up/down/left/right at the moment, all he can see is what is directly in front of the hole

Eh why not. Tier - Could win six in a row. Minnesota -> SSS + Wilhite = Win Nebraska -> Hunter + K.Rolfzen = Win Penn State -> Detering + Lee = Win Wisconsin -> Carlini + Insert Random Hitter = Win ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tier - Cannot win six in a row. Illinois -> + Win against MSU and Purdue . . . and not much else. Michigan -> + Win against PSU . . . and Indiana really? Michigan St. -> + Win against Minnesota & OSU Ohio State -> + Win against Nebraska . . . Purdue -> + Win against Stanford . . . - Loss to Northwestern -> These two do not make sense. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tier - Probably won't get a chance to not win six in a row Iowa -> Come on Iowa. I believe. Just not against us please. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tier - Definitely won't get a chance to not win six in a row Indiana -> Nice win against Michigan. Maryland -> Nice win against Ohio State. Northwestern -> Nice win against Purdue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tier - Metro Atlantic Rutgers -> Schedule Bryant more often.

Looking at the rest of the schedule, I could see a scenario where NEB/MINN/WIS all finish with 3 losses. Minnesota already has 3, but the toughest matches they have left are at home.
NEB still has to play PSU twice. One of them is this Fri in Rec Hall. The Nittany Lions have lost 4 in a row. I think they'll be fired up to knock off Nebraska. Ask the Gophers how tough it is playing there. And then in a couple of weeks NEB goes to MN.
WIS also plays at MINN the last week. A loss there would give them 3 losses (assuming they don't get upset before then).

That doesn't bode well for a Penn State team trying to figure out who they are. Last year, Nebraska came back from two down to win there. I think they win this one.
