American Air from L.A.
United from San Fran.
And then there's Seattle and AK.

I don't think this event is actually in Kauai, probably a mistake in the updating of the website. In the schedule release itself it says "The Lopes will cap off their 2017 road schedule in Honolulu, Hawaii as they play in the Outrigger Resorts Invitational for the third straight year on Apr. 14-15. Last season the Lopes finished third in the invite just below 2015 Final Four teams USC and Hawaii."
It also says that the teams will be Hawaii, USC, Long Beach State, and Florida Atlantic along with Grand Canyon

I could see this "tourney" being a combo of singles/pairs and then duals. The Outrigger runs Thurs. April 13th thru Sat. April 15th.
Pairs on Thursday in the Ching Complex. Friday and Saturday on Kauai.
It would mean a last flight out on Thursday (with all the business commuters, back to Kauai); it would mean a one-night-stay on the Garden Isle.
Neat, anyway that things get diced.

Of course the first flight out could be 6a too. Long Beach State I'm not sure when and how, other than by plane, they're getting to Kauai. American Airlines flys from L.A. It would mean the 49ers have quite the trek over to the smallest of 4 major islands in the chain. They'll be quite tired after the red eye. good luck to Florida Atlantic. They may have to go through San Francisco.

From the Final 2016-17 AVCA/NCAA WVB indoor Poll, Stanford, Nebraska, Florida State, Arizona, Utah..they're all on the newly released UH Beach Schedule. Beach Powers: USC and Pepperdine for double duals in Hawaii, also.
Aloha Invitational (it's called): Florida Atlantic, Grand Canyon, New Mexico, Saint Mary's, and USC; Garden Isle (Kauai) for two days at the end of the season.
What FUN!!

Hawaii, USC, LBSU snd St. Mary's all have dropped the event from their schedules, but have nothing replacing it that weekend. UNM website has them going to UAB instead that weekend. GCU and FAU still have it listed on their schedule. I'm assuming it has been cancelled, but can anyone provide confirmation or insight?

It was cancelled three-four weeks ago. As for why, you'd have to ask the event promoter.

I heard the Outrigger felt screwed by CBS Sports, was supposed to get X amount of commercial coverage during the telecast last year, and didn't. Couldn't reach what they felt was a fair compromise this year, opted out.
