Just curious, do we think Lindenwood is just a formality? Very well could be, seeing how the AC's husband is the HC for the men's VB team. I am not sure that is a deciding factor since her husband hasn't won since being there. In fact this past season Lindenwoods men's team was the only team not to make the MIVA tournament. Would seem odd to just give a program to the AC and not look to upgrade.

I guess not so shocking reading her press release and statement. Good luck Ann.

While he hasn't won anything, he has done a nice job. The transition from NAIA to D1 men's volleyball is not an easy one.

Just curious, do we think Lindenwood is just a formality? I would not think so; wouldn't think she wants it; and that may be smart given DII and the fact they compete in MIAA I would think that would be a good job. They have nice facilities, good location, I would think the pay would be competitive, a good area to recruit, plus you could pull Chicago, Kansas City, Indy for recruits. The MIAA is very competitive, but you can rebuild and win in that league. Look at what NW Missouri State has done. I think with the right coach, Lindenwood, along with the good coach at NWMSU, they could start breaking up the Washburn, Central MO, Neb-Kearney (maybe, they just may run the conference for another 10 years too), and Central OK top of the conference.

Agree to disagree on that one. McKendree didn't even have a men's program when Lindenwood finished the transition and now they are poised to be steadily in the top 4 of the MIVA for a while. Lindenwood men's team is a sinking ship.

They have been NCAA for at least five years now:)

There are rumors that there might be an empty dawg house somewhere soon ! There are so many dogs, you'll have to give a little bit more..

Speaking on GA. Truett McConnell University is looking for a part-time AC. Might be a good gig for a kid who just graduated and wants to get into coaching.

Anybody knows what happened to Alisson at ESU? She did really good job and it's sad to see her go. Hope she will land something quickly.
