The only way Minnesota can win is take out Wahine player(s). How dirty can you get.

Breaking news: Pablo has been updated. Minny now has a 99.999% chance of winning over a Nikki Taylor-less Hawaii.

I just replayed the Taylor injury point several times on the BTN stream. The view is a bit obscured, but if Wilhite was over, it was very slightly. Nikki landed with her left foot rolled inward (the typical volleyball sprain motion). Have you ever had an ankle injury? I am too weak for that. And I'm not queezy towards many things. But it's really difficult for me watch the replays of an ankle injury. Gives me PTSD.

I think it was with Frantti right? Yes. A weird coincidence, Frantti has never been the same since that match I feel. She was ill or something coming in. As I remember, Rose pulled her soon after. She allegedly had the flu and was running a fever, but she started anyway. They really need to train and discipline and enforce that under the net call. It's there for safety. The Badgers train with elastic straps under the net about a foot up so they can learn / practice keeping control of their bodies. Based on LC's experience, a fracture would almost be preferable. Lauren had low and high ankle sprains and the docs did she'd've been better off breaking her ankle than with all the soft tissue damage. I hope they got Nikki some painkillers, pronto. Those things are painful.

And there is another "WOW" graphic. Should we start a drinking game?

Too bad Hawaii can't give them their best game. But there's gotta be more offense from Annie, Emily, McKenna (either one), Kendra, Burns and Castillo. Whatever it takes to give em a run for their money. Nikki Taylor is the glue to this team....you take her away from that and everything else starts to fall apart. So yes, the others need to step up but Nikki's presence on the court is EVERYTHING for Hawaii.
