All the details are not out but looks like less points for local tournaments, and even more points for HP events compared to the old point system.
So, if you are not in metro areas with enough demand to warrant an HP event, or are unwilling to pay the expensive costs of the HP clinics that end with a HP tournament, then you're out of luck.
Also, if you play up, those points don't transfer 1 to 1 to your current age division ranking as before. Now it's just a small premium you earn for playing up. For example, 3rd place in 18U may earn you 267 points in the new system. But it's only 171 points to your 14U ranking.
