Another thing the Hitman franchise is doing is something called "elusive targets". Among other things, they are a reward for not being a Wolfgang and waiting to buy the game years later when it costs $4.99. Anyway, what they do is release a new mission and start a seven-day countdown clock. During the time the mission is available, you get one shot to play it. No saves, no restarts. Succeed or fail, the mission is over when it ends. There were 26 elusive targets for Hitman (all which were over before I bought the game). There have been five for Hitman 2. I just played the fifth one (the only one since I bought the game). One of the "elusive targets" was Gary Busey. Gary Busey actually did the voice acting for the mission where you (as Agent 47) were tasked to kill him. So, when doing these elusive contracts you can't save, and if you go beyond a certain point (for instance you kill one of two targets) you can't restart either. Except ... the elusive targets can only be played in online mode. If you cut your internet connection (or it accidentally drops), the elusive target is reset and you can start from the beginning again. And yes, I just took advantage of this little loophole. After making a mistake (partially based on seriously over-complicating something), I disconnected my modem, and the game automatically canceled me out of the elusive target run. After reconnecting to the internet, I very efficiently did what I had been trying to do before. Dressed as a kitchen worker, I just walked down to the wine cellar, waited a moment for a guard to walk out of sight, dropped lethal poison into a wineglass, and then walked away. Later, while I was busy setting up to drop a chandelier on the second target, I was informed that the first target had "mysteriously" died while sipping wine. Agent 47 strikes again.

I’ve been agonizing over Dying Light. If I buy it (on sale for $9.99), I don’t know when I’ll have the time to play it. I guess I could buy it and then play it sometime in the future. It’s the Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced edition which includes the base game, the expansion The Following, and all DLCs. Quite a bargain.

NBA 2K19 on sale at PSN for $2.99 (regular price=$59.99)
Umm...I should get this.
The one feature I love in the NBA 2K series is My Career (a few years ago, it was called My Player). It lets you take a player and progress from the Summer league to NBA draft to the NBA season, game after game after game, while you build up your attributes. It goes by at a decent pace because if you’re subbed out of a game, you can simply simulate the game. When you’re subbed back in, you play the game. I once went from 67 rated player to a 97 rated player in my rookie year. Did some damage.
In 2K19, this mode has you going undrafted, so you have to start off at a Chinese league, then an NBA development team in, say, Fort Wayne, IN, and then you get picked up by an NBA team where you suffer through a tough rookie season. Soon, as you increase your attributes, you will dominate the league.
