Assuming that the US can qualify two teams every Olympics, the highest ranked team should get a spot in the Olympics and the top 14 American teams and 2 qualifier teams could play an AVP styled double-elimination to semifinals bracket to determine the second team. The qualifier could be open to anybody to give college or indoor players a chance to qualify for the beach Olympics.

I think at this point for me, I'm more concerned on how they are going to grow the sport on the men's side. The Olympic qualification process absolutely needs to be chosen by USA and it would be great news. But at this point I hope on the men's side there is more of an emphasis on how are they going to develop it.

The most important part of any new system should be that it doesn't force teams to stay together forever just to have the opportunity to qualify
