Benson just signed with a French team. Don't know much about pro vb so couldn't tell you anything beyond that

It's one of the lower teams in the French League, but such is the market for pro liberos. I think she'll be the only American libero playing abroad next season (out of a couple hundred players overall?)

The top teams in the Italian League next year will be as good as they have been for a long while. A little short on middles but there are a lot of terminators, plus the usual strength in setting, libero, and L2s. And Casalmaggiore, Bergamo and Monza may still put together competitive teams. | Novara | Conegliano | Modena | Scandicci | Busto | Setter | Skorupa | Wolosz | Ferretti | Carlini | Orro | Opp | Egonu | Fabris | Barun | Haak | Diouf | OH | Piccinini/Plak/Enright | Hill/Hodge/Bricio | Klineman/C. Bosetti | Meijners/L. Bosetti | Gennari/Bartsch/Wilhite | MB | Gibbmyer/Chirichella | Folie/Danesi/Melandri | Heyrman/Calloni/Garzaro | Adenizia/ | Stufi/Berti | Libero | Sansonna | De Gennaro | Leonardi | Merlo | Spirito | |
A lot of changes, but a LOT of Americans/NCAA players in the Italian League next year. Even though the top teams aren't as good as the Turkish one, this is definitely the most competitive league down the line. Full team rosters, with starting formations here. www.volleyball.it/mercato/a1-femminile-201718/Glossary: P - Setter (Pallegiatrice) O - Opposite (Oposto) S - Outside (Schiacciatrice) C - Middle (Centrale) L - Libero (Libero)
