Can anyone make an educated comment about the quality of the women's pro league in Poland? The Polish league (Orlen Liga) is overall pretty solid. It is top heavy, with the top 3 or 4 teams handily beating the rest of the group throughout the season. The top teams are good and would be comparable to mid level Italian teams I think. Definitely a higher level than the top teams in the NCAA but well behind the top pro teams in Turkey, Italy, etc. (Disclaimer: I've watched quite a few matches online and even a couple in person. Not an expert but relatively educated on the topic)

How would the two leagues compare?

I don't follow club a lot, is Eczacibasi planning on replacing Kosheleva?

As far as i know Linamar BRSE (her former club in Hungary) is a decent team and dominates the Hungarian league almost like Olympiakos does in Greece or Volero does in Switzerland. I can be wrong, but i assume, they're as good as an "average", "mid-level" Polish league team. But it's pretty sure a step up for her because most of the opponent teams in the Polish league might be clearly stronger than the ones in Hungary. And it's certainly not a disadvantage that her setter from Linamar BRSE Zsuzsanna Talas has signed with the same Polish club.

Appreciate you taking the time to respond! Exciting times for Sarah!

Lloyd's move to play with Zé Roberto will be great for Team USA, if it indeed pans out. The Brazilian League is not as strong as the Italian League...but Zé roberto is a three time olympic champion...he knows how to get things done: volleymob.com/lloydinbrazil/

Gina Mancuso to BKS Bielsko-Biala in Poland and Kyra Holt to Dimurol Libbys in Spain after planning to play in the PR league that isn't happening this year.
Pavan has left Casalmaggiore and they are trying out Annie Drews in her place.
