This is so sad to hear. Prayers go out to her family and loved ones. She was such an incredible player to watch, extremely athletic and one of the few players who could bounce the ball consistently.

This must have been extremely sudden, her twitter still has her posting just a few days ago but from comments on her instagram it appears it was self inflicted. So sad, what a loss. My condolences to her family and friends who are left wondering.

My condolences to her family and friends who are left wondering. The go-fund-me site mentions that as well. "All donations are going directly to the final arrangements and all assistance is greatly appreciated! Any remaining funds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in the name of Kiara Wright. We want to also say to those that may be in the midst of life’s struggles... You have the power to say, “This is not how my story will end.”"

This is so sad to hear. Prayers go out to her family and loved ones. She was such an incredible player to watch, extremely athletic and one of the few players who could bounce the ball consistently. She could play OH, RS, or MB efficiently. So athletic. So much potential. So sad.

This is.... I can't even.
Too many bright, beautiful people lost to suicide this year.
Depression is a liar and a murderer. It convinces people that they are terrible, worthless, a burden. It siezes on any thread of half-truth it can find to get people to believe its lies. I'm so sad that it's stolen another young person.
I wish comfort and strength to Kiara's friends and family right now.

Wow.....I remember her at USC, and it looked like she had a lot of potential with her athleticism. Very sad. This brings to mind Sam Wopat at Stanford.

So it wasn't self-inflicted. Just tragic and heartbreaking.

Hmmmm - the worst kind of fake news, when it's regarding death and grief and used to further an agenda. Thank you for the link. The other one is just...bizarre.
