Tayler played right with his brother and did well. Is he manly a left side player though?

I think there's more to it than that. There have been grumblings for a few years now behind the scenes that money aside, players just dont particularly enjoy playing with ryan. Perhaps that's one reason Brazil has a deeper roster at the international level. Their federation assigns partnerships based on the expectation of winning and not necessarily personal relationships or having fun. The Brazilian federation has really come off thst stance last couple years because of negative reaction from players and lack of prime time success. Alison and bruno chose to stay together for their olympic run.

There's the key: Ryan has or is nearing peak, Casey's was seemingly years ago. I'll agree. Jake was the best setting partner Casey has had, That can be Ryan's biggest need for improvement still. Ryan won't be helping Casey sideout. I'd actually like to see Casey with Slick for some reason. yeah, I called it.

Thats interesting...Ryan is CERTAINLY a good guy and very likable, but if you've ever played with someone without commensurate ball control (who HASN'T), you "feel the pain" as you trod through your games "wishing": THINK what we could do if he/she could pass....Ryan is certainly levels of magnitude above his starting skills, but far from what you expect at this premier level....Oh well, the fun never ends...
Yup. You nailed it right there. There's errors you can live with and then there's errors that rip your heart out. When you give a 7 footer a perfect option set and he hit it into the net or out it really takes the mustard out of you. It's still 1 point but it FEELS so deflating.

The more I think about this partnership the more I like it. I think Theo and Hyden l’s personalities mesh well. Theo is a very relaxed player. Hyden can get intense but for the most part he is as well. Seems like he can always get the best out of his partner. Casey I think was a little too loud and assertive for Theo, seemed like he always got down on Theo with his body language. Theo is going to have to have to learn those shoot sets and it he does it’s going to be deadly!

I wouldn't be surprised to see another partner shake-up by the time the AVP season starts up again.
