GREAT show BTW, nice to stay on beach the whole time and not have to forward through the perennial "now for college".... SO, my question: You watch the elite blockers knock 'em down, time after time (6'8" +)...Is there any adjustments made for blockers of that magnitude? Do you just "set normal" and whisper "Good Luck" as you put it up for your hitter?
Also, not sure how you pronounced McNamee correctly on E2, but you are one of the few who pulled that off the 1st time!
Keep this going!

I’m surprised no one has mentioned having Kerri Walsh Jennings on in future episodes!

I’m surprised no one has mentioned having Kerri Walsh Jennings on in future episodes! Likely because most of us have heard Kerri speak before and fear an hour of syrupy treacle with nothing substantial said.

2nd question: Hops...So we ALWAYS hear about "hops" but since height is more objective/measurable/consistent, why don't we know about "hop differential" if you will....eg. "Yeah, he's 6'3", but equalized for jumping ability, he performs at the top of 6'5" players or something like that...Do the players differ THAT much (how much) and does it degrade during games or "with a break" they are pretty much "up" the same amount on blocks. Anway . . .I'll try not to add another question till E4. . . . ;-)

I’m surprised no one has mentioned having Kerri Walsh Jennings on in future episodes! Kerri too busy getting her ass in gear to kick ass in 2018! At least that’s what I hope....The only questions people are interested in asking her about is what happened between her an The AVP and what happened between her and April Ross...

I think whatever you ask Kerri you get the same faux optimistic girl power talking points, but if there were some sort of truth serum involved I'd ask: 1) What really happened with April Ross and the breakup? 2) What do you think sets you apart from every other woman that ever played including Misty? 3) What players do you really dislike (or have you in the past) and why?

I don’t think she’ll answer these questions— they’re quite personal, but good questions though.

Actually it would be a good opportunity for an aspiring journalist to ask some tough questions and press with some good followup questions. Although I'm guessing many relevant topics with KWJ would be off-limits due to the ongoing lawsuit. On that note, I thought Kevin Barnett did a nice job with his interview with Brittany Hochevar on The Net Live last week. On the topic of World Champs he got her to say that it was basically Kerri's decision to send Emily Day in her place with Nicole Branagh rather than let the next team up of Day/Hochevar take their spot. It was clearly a topic Brittany was uncomfortable discussing in much detail, and she was also unhappy with how it all went down.

Niche sport needs much positve EXPOSURE as possible.

Did Brit actually think Kerri was going to give her spot to Brit after the all that went down between them? Think again Brit! Nicole & Emily actually did really well!

She only has x number of tournaments left before she gets hurt again and I imagine she wants those to be the biggest and most lucrative. Maybe if she needed to play an event based on her rehab schedule etc. an AVP would make sense, but Kerri needs to be as cautious as possible with that shoulder even when its "fully" healthy again

KWJ will focus on FIVB tourneys until she decides to call it a career. AVP is not even on her radar!
