I know 2 just came out, but I have a thought.
Try and get Todd Rogers.
I'd love to hear his thoughts on:
2018 starts the 2 year out process, what is USAV going to do different (or the same) this time? How USAV targets young players, and do they try and sway any from indoor?
state of the pro game, how he views the NVL/Amato vs. AVP

Phil Dalhausser too! And getting any female beach volleyball players on the mic? Phil is BORING!!! yes, I'd like to hear from some of the younger players. What is their plan on progressing up the ladder and forcing these old farts out!! (kidding about the age thing) You have players like Klinman, Dykstra, Pardon, How do they plan on making a living playing beach?

Is this strictly for Pro Beach.. would like to hear from Collegiate coaches from all over (Ie Socal, Florida Texas). Not just about their individual programs but what it's like starting up a beach program. Do they like the current format of the Dual Competition? Should their be a pairs championship? Should the girls be allowed to play AVP even if school is in session? Should their be more beach conferences like the CCSA to keep travel cost down.... What's their main recruiting pipeline other than Jr beach tournaments?

Quite a few college coaches moonlight on the AVP, as players or coaches.

HUGELY appreciate all the feedback and thanks all of y'all for listening in. Love it. I'll try to address a few of the ideas here: - Rogers: He's one of my favorite interviews. Will definitely be looking to get him on at some point. - Phil: Phil is only a "boring" interview when he ha to give cliche interviews, i.e. right after matches or about topics he doesn't want to talk about (injuries, partner swaps, etc.). When he's in an environment he's comfortable and just wants to BS about volley, he's excellent. At some point we'll be looking for him to be on. - Females: Our plan is to do no more than 3 male interviews without a female, to keep their (much needed) voices in the mix. We may even have one on next week All of the women mentioned above would be excellent guests, Klineman in particular, with her topsy turvy story with USAV. - Young talent: Tri and I are both young, so this is kind of our wheelhouse. Zaun is one of my closer friends, we'll just have to edit...and edit...and edit to make it PG-13. But we'll work them in for sure. - Not strictly beach. We plan on getting some college coaches/players involved when that season rolls around, possibly as its own weekly segment. We don't know yet, we're still tinkering with a lot of new ideas and possibilities. The only thing we're certain of is that we're not ruling out any ideas, so keep 'em coming

When you open E1, I loved Tri’s summary of his current situation, you should have considered E2 opening with how to pronounce your last name…LOL . . . Really, I know there must be a trick to it and when you identify yourself on the show I’m not sure I can go from that to “pronouncing it”… Great show BTW….

At some point I think it would be awesome to have a round table discussion with 3-4 key people with diverse views on the state of the game in the US. Maybe get a current player, former player, coach, USAV or league administrator, etc. together and hash out issues like: how to grow the game domestically and expand events to more cities; FIVB vs AVP vs NVL and exclusivity contracts; should focus be on Olympic qualification or domestic events for the top players; KWJ lawsuit and its implications; rules changes; how to promote the game to recreational and juniors players.
You know these types of conversations are taking place privately all the time. It would be refreshing to hear the different perspectives from people within the game who aren't afraid to express themselves publicly.
