Who do you think will be the most improved player on the team coming out of the offseason? I'm looking for serious improvement from Hart and Loberg, neither of whom has had a spring yet. I'm also looking for improvement from Whalen, who had a spring in 2017, but missed a lot of the actual season with a bum knee. I expect big things from all 3 of them because they'll all be challenging for playing time. I also expect solid, continued improvement from Duello, who has to be feeling some pressure to keep her spot. OH: Haggerty presumably has one spot locked up. The other could be Loberg or Whalen, or possibly even Duello. MB: Williams presumably has one spot locked up. The other could be Rettke or Hart (if Rettke moves to the right). RS: Up for grabs. Duello, Loberg, Rettke, Hart. Syd is a lock at setter. I assume we'll see Haggerty, Williams, and Rettke on the court in some role. As for libero, I hope that all of our smalls step up and compete hard for the jersey.

YES! I'm glad they're taking a stand.

What happens with Rettke, Duello, Hart and RS/Middle attack is a big question. I think we may see a bit of experimenting in front line formations, but I don't know what they've already seen in practice with this "B" team. Maybe what the coaches have seen has already made their minds up for them. I'm really looking for a strong season from ME from start to finish. Maybe a bit more stability in the back row lineup will help her. The setter position is basically hers, but I'm also looking for Hilley to improve, especially by stepping into the leadership position for this team. I think with a bit of experience about the rigors of the position, she will be able to expand her game and her influence on the team.

YES! I'm glad they're taking a stand. I wonder how the Haggerty and Carlini families feel about this.

Let's just say that these threads are not created by a team's fans for someone else to come along and bash that team. This seems self-evident to me.
I ask again: If you have issues with another program, start your own thread. Moderation will only allow it to go so far, but let's not s*** all over someone else's thread.
OK?

It's just hard because players, parents, and coaches read this board and these "injury conspiracies" need to be left off here.

I have no doubt that is the point. Which is why we are always reluctant to allow this stuff.
It's especially suspicious when people are bumping posts made by posters who already have multiple accounts. platypus, for example, is also vawbaw.
I will not hesitate to point this out. I'll give you anonymity, to a point. But I'm not going to allow multiple accounts to not be linked. Not when it's stuff like this.

It is also suspicious when new accounts are posting from the same city/area.

It is also suspicious when new accounts are posting from the same city/area. I feel like posts 501 and 502 should be deleted. These are literally reposting old posts suggesting that Wisconsin is in the habit of forcing players to retire due to injury. This is not only detrimental to this board’s validity, but this hurts recruiting and university reputation. It’s unreal. EDITED, FANS: THEY WERE DELETED. PRAISE BE TO @doppelganger!

Start another thread, 402. The leash will be short, but I don't want this in this thread.

I guess i would like an explanation why listing injuries that have happened in a program can get you in hot water. It’s the same thing as people rattling of all the transfers from Nebraska in their thread. Do we want to cover up all blemishes from recruits and their families? Recruits committing to dedicate years of their life to a program deserve to know facts.
These things don’t look good on programs, but it’s happening on litterally every thread on here.

But reposting old posts is not the way to go about it. If you are that concerned, start a thread about it. There's no reason to dump on a fan thread.
