Seriously? One of the top players in the country leaves the program and you only want it discussed in the Longhorn fish bowl? And the over-reaction by Horns fans to the Zelon blog is laughable and quite embarrassing ... troll bait. I'm tired of wading through the crap to get anything meaningful from what's discussed here. I don't really know why it's the case (jealousy? resentment? etc.) but the Texas forum gets the most traffic from trolls from other schools. There are a lot of troll worthy moments from other schools, but I don't feel the need to surround or engage myself with that. I'm not the only one that feels this way. Apparently most of Penn State fans felt the same way as well. Texas fans, I encourage you to check out other avenues to discuss the team and it's future. Message me if you want the links. I feel the same way and it’s quite sad in my opinion.

I am really getting tired of this s***. You people act like as*holes and you blame the moderation?? Serious question... Isn’t that what moderators are for? I’m a member of multiple sports message boards and the moderators ensure posts are detailed by trolls, personal beefs are at a minimum, and control the fine line between player/coach constructive criticism and outright criticism. Is that not how it works here? It's not expecting too much of [numerically-established] adults to have some level of decorum in a forum such as this. The term trolls gets tossed around quite a bit. It IS, however, expecting too much to ask that a small handful of moderators keep up with each of these sometimes nutty threads. That would be called a monitor and might include some compensation, which currently the volunteer mod's do not receive. How they get anyone to volunteer to moderate this stuff is beyond me. But I do appreciate it and would never lay blame on any of them how out of control some pot stirrers are.

Texas fans, are there other forums that are better managed and less populated with Nebraska and USC trolls that we can discuss Texas volleyball? I used to really enjoy coming to this forum to find out more about the team but lately it's been way too confrontational and off topic with the same people making the same comments that are tired and really not funny. The gloating by other fans is really off-putting and the redundant "everyone hates Texas" from Nebraska fans, while laughable (because, Nebraska), is not what I want to read. Any way we can start a Texas specific forum for fans? I seem to recall that's what Penn State fans have done. I wouldn't be opposed to that. Best solution right now is to just ignore and just keep talking about volleyball. We are here to talk about the year 2018 for Texas volleyball. Not who's insulting who? Anyways, are the coaches clinic even worth it? I can possibly make it and has anyone ever done it. I want to meet Salima.

And the over-reaction by Horns fans to the Zelon blog is laughable and quite embarrassing ... troll bait. he asked a question. that's it. and not all Texas fans reacted to Olivia's blog post. Ask a question expect an answer. The Texas fans whining the most are the ones that went bat-$hit crazy over the blog, drawing in the trolls, debating the trolls, then complaining about the trolls.

Noted ... but I'am south of the Arkansas River. I understand why you wrote “the” instead of the correct “thee”, because some people in America pronounce “the” as /thee/. However, both “fair” and “fare” are pronounced the same in all parts of the English-speaking world, so your location doesn’t excuse your ignorance of homophones. Next time, blame your education and not a particular side of a river.

Lexi Sun = Addition by Subtraction. The only year out of the last six (?) they didn't make it that far was the one year with Lexi. If they make it next year, you may be on to something.
