The semifinals are done, and all but one of the seeds held place going into the finals. If this ends up being the last season of the fantasy league, which based on the dimishing number of PMs and lineups seems likely, it will be a cool way to end it all.
It was a very tough set of rules this season with the requirement of one starter from each league. If there is a league next season, that will be a rule again. Using net kills rather than just kills had a significant impact on the numbers this year, so that would be a good rule to keep.
If you are interested in next season, then check in around December 15. The draft will be conducted the same way we did it this year (for this league.) Using that style, we can get through the entire draft in about three days. I'd love for this league to keep going, but the fact of the matter is that this year's league was on life support after the other vet league folded.
I really want to thank ColeguateZ for taking a role as an alternate at the start of the season, and then stepping in midseason after we lost a participant. On top of that, CollecguateZ was managing another team in the absence of a participant. I also want to thank volleyballbro and vollegal for submitting a lineup before the deadline, every single week.
I hope at least four of you will be back next season and that we can combine forces with four participants from the league that MIVA2017 and company refused to let die, to form one strong league with great participation.
As far as this upcoming week goes, good luck to everyone. It will be nice to crown a first-time champion.
I'll get the scores updated and lineups entered later this week, once I have lineups submitted from everyone. Right now I have two lineups submitted, but we have until Tuesday to get them all in.
