Minnesota!
I’m going to do it like I’m choosing an Olympic team roster, so 12 (bc I don’t want to narrow it down to 7 and this is a compromise).
OHs: Branagh, Wilhite, Santana MBs: Dixon, Gibbemeyer, H Tapp (2015 version) Opps: Harms, Busse Ss: Berg, SSS L/DSs: Gentil, Granquist
OR Samedy for Harms or Busse, OR H Tapp for Harms or Busse at Opp and P Tapp at middle. This is fun to think about:) Hard to say what the starting lineup would be, maybe even a 6-2 with that talent

Never got the impression she quit because of her ankle. Is that true? I always wondered why no one did a follow-up interview with her. Perspective and all that. VolleyballMag Heck, you could do a series on all those "mysteries." If people were willing to open up. I have suggestions! I was under the impression she was burnt out more than any injury causing her to quit.

The Berg-Hagen connection, especially slides, was terrific.

Probably also underappreciated, and even forgotten, but I always thought Palmer's slides and backsets were quite good and one of her best points.

Surprised that no Washington fans have mentioned Bianca Rowland. She was practically unstoppable near the end of her career and had so much range. Only because I hadn't posted yet: OH: Vansant, Morrison, Benjamin, Schwan OPP: Tomacevic, Carlson MB: Sybeldon, Rowland, Gil, Swarbrick/Desilets L: Miyashiro, Lee S: Thompson, Hagglund

Oh little child. Do your research before you open that mouth. Hawaii is one of a few programs with multiple AVCA/NCAA Players of the Year. All who are great. Hawaii has also fielded many Olympic rosters with the likes of Stanford and Long Beach State. So don't be a sore loser!

Those players were dominant, and at their peak can still do some damage today. There aren't that much well-rounded players these days that were big and play all the way around.

You could walk through any sport’s HOF saying ‘they could never have the same success today’ but does that take away their greatness during that era in which their greatness was recognized? It’s such baiting to ask people to reminisce and list from all of their school’s seasons in history their best players, then jump on their list and say how poorly they’d compete vs X roster. How childish/immature, not to mention annoying. Shut up and let people honor the all-time greats from their schools.

High HM Players: OH-Saleamua MB-Delano MB-Kropp MB-Cooper RS-Licht S-Holloway S-Noth S-Endicott S-Johnson S-Cook S-Anderson DS/OH-Albrecht Nebraska churns out some incredible all around players. Every OH I listed was a stellar passer/defender. They've also have an affinity for big powerful lefties. Man, Lori Endicott has gotten no respect amongst the Nebraska greats in this thread. I have only seen the pages up till this point right here (page 14) but geez! Retired Nebraska jersey that became the starting Setter for the US Olympic team.

I watched her play in Ogallala about a thousand years ago. She was good but the game was so different then. Hard to judge. I recall her sharing that she threw up before every game due to nerves.
