Lori Endicott played against the Cubans, who were dominant at the time, and even with the best in the world today, the Cubans with Luis and Carvajal would destroy any of the top teams today. The "game has changed a lot" excuse is a bunch of bull! Lori is the standard at Nebraska!

High HM Players: OH-Saleamua MB-Delano MB-Kropp MB-Cooper RS-Licht S-Holloway S-Noth S-Endicott S-Johnson S-Cook S-Anderson DS/OH-Albrecht Nebraska churns out some incredible all around players. Every OH I listed was a stellar passer/defender. They've also have an affinity for big powerful lefties. Man, Lori Endicott has gotten no respect amongst the Nebraska greats in this thread. I have only seen the pages up till this point right here (page 14) but geez! Retired Nebraska jersey that became the starting Setter for the US Olympic team. Thats because in my opinion she is the 4th or 5th best setter all time at Nebraska...Kelly Hunter, Greichaly Cepero, Christy Johnson, and Fiona Nepo/Lori Endicott.

Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Penn State S: Hancock OPP: Fawcett L1: Hodge L2: McClendon M1: Washington or Cacciamani M2: Harmotto L: Walters or Holehouse I would put Alisha Glass over Hancock for Penn State.

You could walk through any sport’s HOF saying ‘they could never have the same success today’ but does that take away their greatness during that era in which their greatness was recognized? It’s such baiting to ask people to reminisce and list from all of their school’s seasons in history their best players, then jump on their list and say how poorly they’d compete vs X roster. How childish/immature, not to mention annoying. Shut up and let people honor the all-time greats from their schools. I think you misunderstand the point of a FORUM which is literally a medium/tool for DISCUSSION. A thread in which users just list their "all time team" without discussion would be boring. Comparing those teams is an obvious and logical segue to this topic. Additionally, confused how saying "no X was a better setter than Y" is any less "childish/immature/annoying" than "team X would beat team Y."

Discussions are good, but one must also know what they're talking about. Like many of the folks on here....can go back 30 years.

This Minnesota team is comparatively weaker than most of the other top program's all time teams.
