Hard not to root for Aspire in this one! Lanie Wagner (of VT Fame) recently committed to Lipscomb...which is in Nashville, plays for Aspire 18-1! That’s kinda cool in a volleyball geek kind a way!!!

Nashville gold pools are pretty tough. Aspire, Rage, A5, and MAVA on one side. OTVA, Norco, TopSelect and OPU on the other.

Can you give a little context? The only thing I found for her was on the transfer thread where she was committed to Georgia but is now going to go to Lipscomb. Was there anything else that she did or that happened to her?

Was there anything else that she did or that happened to her? There was lots of VT support and maybe even a separate thread devoted to her recruiting journey and the Uga to Lipscomb switch. I found it interesting that she is playing her first qualifier at her new college home. There is deeper context to the commitment switch that you can probably find but I was trying not to rehash the entire thing.

Wow. Ocala Power clinches the first bid in Nashville. Would not have predicted that... I thought they were pretty solid across the board and at times they were on fire... Annie Fitzpatrick ('20, PSU) is a real talent, as is Marlie Monserez ('18, Florida). It seemed like they were among the smaller teams overall, a bunch of six footers mostly (one taller RS/MB, name escapes me, going to Florida???) that were very good all around players. I was super impressed with Fitzpatrick, what an athlete.
