Does anyone know this? I have been thinking about going to either Qatar or Xiamen, but which US teams are going will be important in deciding on which (or either). Does anyone know of any way of finding out? For Qatar I am most interested in Nick/Phil and for Xiamen Phil/Nick and which women's teams are playing

Phil mentioned he’s thinking of going to Doha after Ft. Lauderdale in the Sandcast.
But the deadline is a month before the tournament. Not sure why no USA teams are showing up for Ft. Lauderdale so far!!

Lauderdale. Canadian and Swiss teams have been on the bvbinfo for that event for weeks! In fact, teams are even an option listed to click on on the official Ft. Lauderdale Major website...

I heard Nicole & Lauren in Ft. Laudedale... I had a feeling about this pair. Makes sense for both Nicole and Lauren. There aren’t that many options for Nicole especially since she herself does not have that many points so unless she wants to start in the country quota/qualifiers, she’ll need someone who has more points than her. Gussing they’ll split block or Lauren blocks and Nicole defends.

I am assuming the same as you...I think Kerri may be taking the year off...Restong her shoulder..Possibly making a go at 2020 starting in 2019...With who? Don’t know...

So Karissa Cook was a one-off partnership. I’m not sure what’s going on with KWJ anymore... I wonder what teams will be playing country quota now on the women’s side for USA — Brit/Em and Kelley/Betsi? For sure Kelly/Sara, Summer/Brooke are in the main draw. Not too sure about ATeam. Hope they have enough points to make it out of country quota.

It would also be cool to see Nick/Phil in front of a home crowd in FL and if Larissa and the Giant Swiss come that may be the most interesting field of the year.

Yep, for sure seeing a 5* event on home soil is something special. Especially when Phil and Nick are home team!! Any AVPs near you?

I wish it were Belmar but I've heard its a great setting. You?
