The Graduate Assistant Volleyball Coach reports directly to the Head Volleyball Coach and is responsible for assisting in the planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects and facets of a successful volleyball program. Duties include: recruitment of skilled and academically qualified student -athletes and monitoring academic progress and eligibility. Assist in the planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating practices sessions along with development, implementation, driving players to and from competition. Serve as leader, mentor, and role-model to student - athletes. Assist head coach in the preparation of team schedule, fundraising initiatives, team travel and other administrative processes/procedures as assigned by the Head Coach. Ensure compliance with all necessary policies, procedures, and regulations.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two (2) years playing/coaching experience in intercollegiate volleyball. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be highly motivated, an energetic self-starter, have sound judgment, and decision-making ability along with attention to detail.
