Your nervousness is most appropriate tonight. Clearly the best team we faced since Stanford.

yep. no easy matches at this point. Texas will be severely tested.

feel bad for morgan and yaazie. we'll miss you ladies.
i wonder if micaya was bothered by her ankle after landing on the michigan player yesterday. just 6 kills for her tonight.

Figured I post here since the Husker fans have taken over the match thread.
I didn't think they played too bad tonight, they just couldn't get it done when it hit the 20s. Having that home crowd for BYU has to be the difference for the Cougars. Keep in mind there are four freshman starting for UT right now so the future is bright. Look for Fields to hopefully come in and take the place of Yazzie next year. I'm hoping they figure out the setting position because this team could be lethal next year. Crazy to see how well they blocked tonight, save for against RJP.
Very excited about the future for the Horns. Hook 'Em.

Congrats to Morgan Johnson and my favorite Texas player of all time YAAZIE on solid careers! A tough way to end a very successful four year run. Both will be missed, but the way our freshman played tonight, the upside is great for UT. Hook em!

Hook 'Em. lost by just 8 total points. i figure that the setter position will be the biggest issue moving into next season.
and i completely agree about the home court. that place was jazzed up. this is why hosting is so snarfing important.
next year will be the last go round with micaya, autumn, claire and riley. i also wonder if blaire will return or if her injuries have gotten to be too much

Good season, y’all! Setter issues galore but the backrow has definitely improved and Sydney will continue to improve. We have lots to look forward to next year.

looking at the stats for the match...it's kinda mind-blowing how many more digs byu had than Texas, 38 to 23.

I don’t think there is as much up on the air about setting as some do. Give Jhenna an entire off-season to train as a setter. Remember she came in as a walk-on DS. This spring and summer she will work on running the offense and blocking. Things are looking good for Texas 2019.
