I'm driving to Stanford again to run around.

It used to be easier driving around Stanford, but lately with all the new dorms going in it has been slow going on Campus Drive. I know they added in some traffic circles to help mitigate the number of stops (Stanford -- home of the STOP Sign), but the dorm construction has nullified that mitigation effort.

The more I exercise, the worse I feel. I should probably get out of the rodeo circuit.

I'm going to Stanford and run around until I hit 5 miles. (Actually, I have a specific route.) Then, lunch at either Nola or Oren's Hummus in downtown Palo Alto, whichever is less busy. Yes, I'll be smelly and sweaty. See ya!

I have a coupon from Denny's so I'm going to go for a 5 mile run, do some chin-ups and push-ups, and eat lunch at Denny's.

Denny's would have to pay me to eat there, under ordinary circumstances. (3am, need food, and they are the only place around -- OK, Denny's it is.)

I ate at Key's Cafe and Bakery after today's vigorous workout. A better Denny's.
I think there's some snow mixed in with the rain we're getting. That means snow in 8 of the last 12 months.

And all this time, I thought you understood me. Apparently not.

You know what I find the most grueling of all the exercise routines? The ones on youtube where I'm following along with a trainer who go through a series of in-home cardio and total body routines. Squats, planks, burpees, medicine balls, kettle bells, steps. I dread them. I sweat like a hog and I'm completely exhausted.
The easiest: 3-5 mile runs. I find running the easiest.
Halfway between easy and hard: 3 mile runs (12 laps on a high school track) combined with squats/pushups/chinups/situps every half lap. It gets to the point where I can't even do 2-3 reps after 8 laps. Oy vey...
