Well who picked the All-American team? "The selections were made by the AVCA Men's Division III Volleyball All-America Committee: chairperson LJ Marx; chairperson (Carthage), Dan Liberto (Marymount), Scott Reslow (Johnson & Wales), Aldis Berzins (Stevenson), Kyle Exline (North Central), Ryan Shopf (Lakeland), Katie LaClaire (SUNY Poly), Sheila Gisbrecht (Elms), Bill Kropp (St. Joseph’s – Long Island), Dan Miranda (Elmira), and Ryan Thompson (Wittenberg)." So the chair is from which school? And where was Kyle Exline before North Central? And where did Wittenberg find Ryan Thompson? Now are we seeing how rigged the AVCA is? GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB.

The amount of bias on the AVCA is why we need to have the volleytalk all American list be more prominent. There’s just bias and it’s frankly terrible that the national player of the year hasn’t ever won an NCAA tournament match in his 4 years.

But his Assists/Set number was soooooo gooooood (rolls eyes sarcastically).

Reinsel only won strictly because of his numbers. Competing against other midwest teams really raises those stats up.
I'm even surprised they didn't give it to someone from Baruch since they were "#1 in the nation in blocking"
Congrats to Reinsel on his achievement.
May Carthage strive to get past the first round next year, Lord knows we are all waiting for it.

I like LJ, seems like a good guy and carries himself well but he needs to step down from being committee chairperson. Feels like he’s been in charge of it forever and definitely too long.
Maybe it’ll allow him to spend more time on his head coaching duties this time of year instead of clearly focusing too much on his chairperson duties.

What are the chances the refs will call a double on either team?

I understand that Springfields main libero moved to OH this year, but how do they not have a better option than this headband

What are the chances the refs will call a double on either team? Neither setter will get called for a double that’s for sure. But don’t worry, the R2 is making up for it by trying to set an NCAA record for most net violations called in one match.

Still waiting for the Charlie Sullivan fake timeout/argue with refs. It'll happen 100%
