I believe Hanawahine had 5 digs in set 1 vs Texas. She slowed down after that. Her digging vs blue chip hitters is convincing.
I think her strength is in her passing. Her HS senior year passing was textbook and she got into the UO sand lineup.

I feel like Robyn is gonna start from scratch when it comes to a starting line up. Lets face it, for the first time in a long time this team has many options. I am excited to see who will get the start come game time. I have a feeling this team is gonna be something special

Truth be told, UH's real, promising future will be 2020-beyond.

Although I do believe RAM will have a lot of options and will start from scratch, it's not true that this is the first time Hawaii was in this position with many options. In 2015, Hawaii had Nikki Taylor, Olivia Magill, Emily Maglio, Tayler Higgins, McKenna Granato, a healthy Kalei Greeley, Savannah Kahakai, and exciting newcomer Annie Mitchem. That team went to the Elite Eight. The following year in 2016, Hawaii had Taylor, Maglio, Mitchem, Granato, Higgins, Greeley, Kahakai, and newcomer Norene Iosia. Shoji and everyone else thought that team was going to be really good. But for some unlucky preseason injuries to Mitchem and Taylor, Hawaii would've done better. And just a few years back, the teams from 2009 and 2010 were quite formidable.

For her to be named, Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio, is saying something. Being that she is in B1G country.
