Heard Lines is a done deal. Koavball seems to always have the inside track. Something probably happened. Idk Good luck to Lines! Yeah...I thought the guy was spot on almost all the time. Hopefully, we will end up getting someone better. Even if we don’t add another OH, I feel very confident that either Riley or Hanna will step up big time as a freshman.

Irene reminds me of another uncommon volleyball name, Jolene, retired HC Clemson. Wow that was a blast from the past. I remember being teammates with Jolene back in the day during our Chesapeake Region days in the late 90s. whew Jolene was always a hoot to play with. Luv her and she had skills.

Being one year short of 80, but with mind still intact, I have some esoteric volleyball memories. I notice Logan Tom is still playing internationally. When I was in the OSHA business, I knew her dad Mel Tom who was the director of environmental health and safety for Kamehameha Schools/Bishop Estate. That high school is sending Braelyn Akana to the Wahine (Go Bows) and Keonilei Akana to USC (Go Trojans.) l’m alumnus of both. 👍

I think RAMS should go with the roster she has now to make up her team for the 2019 season.... Give the freshmen a chance to play and give them experience for the upcoming seasons...It's nice seeing tranferes, but I think the team she has now with all the recruits gonna be a bomb for 2019... I just hope that the spring match against Texas will be on bigwest tv or at least there's gonna be a stats page to keep up on the game as it is going on... That would be fantastic... Why don't UH have their schedule for the 2019 seaon posted yet? a lot of schools have theirs posted. I can't wait to see who they'll be playing for their pre-season n matches.

I would be mildly upset if Riley Wagoner isn't in the starting lineup. I say this without having seen her play. I just like the name "Riley." And she's from all the way over in the Midwest redneck state of Ohio. Reminds me of that Jennifer Lawrence film -- Winter's Bone -- which is the best film Lawrence ever starred in. I've been told the way of life in that part of our country -- the hicksville type rural areas of West Virginia-Ohio-Kentucky is spot on. I feel like I'm helping Wagoner escape the nightmare that is Ohio.
As for the L and DS positions, I don't really care which of the three -- Kyra Hanawahine, Rika Okino, Janelle Gong -- get the nod.

I lived in Ohio for 2 years (Dayton). Its sort of in no man's land geographically. Eastern Ohio considers themselves "east coast". Western Ohio is often classified as "mid-west", and southern Ohio almost feels "southern".

For OH/OPP, we have 6 options (maybe 8 if Westerberg and Krug are tried at the pins), for MB, we have 4 options (possibly 5 if Akana gets looked at the middle), and for L/DS, we have 3 options (along with Ross if needs be, or Rasmussen, Wagoner, and Hellvig could play six-rotations as an option too).

I would be mildly upset if Riley Wagoner isn't in the starting lineup. It would be an interesting case if Robyn thinks she's not ready at the pin in the front row. Would she be ok with wanting to L or DS for a season. Or would she perfer to redshirt?

Almost every spring exhibition has included graduated seniors from the previous season. So I would not be surprised to see any of the recently graduated players to step in if need be.

Ohio's economy is largely based in manufacturing 3M, Ford, Honda, Diebold, Whirlpool, Goodyear, P&G,Sherwin Williams all have manufacturing plants there. Winters are brutal in Cbus, today its a balmy 30 degrees. Wagoner's going to enjoy the weather in Honolulu.
