Idaho is better than one might think. They took down CSUN.
But if Hawaii plays like last week, I see them at 2-1 or better this week.

After this weekend, I think we'll have an understanding of how Hawaii will do in the BWC. I believe all three teams are comparable to BWC teams.

The next 5 matches should tell the Wahine fans how the Wahine will do in the BWC. I would compare Oregon to Cal Poly, while the next 3 matches can compare to the rest of the BWC teams.

Category 3 hurricane Norman now 670 miles east of Honolulu Norman is tracking North of the Islands and is not anticipated to have much of a effect on the islands outside of increasing surf and cutting into the trade wind flow. Take your dramatic bs and sit on it, dumbass.

Why would you compare Oregon to Cal Poly? Oregon starts a senior setter. They are a veteran team and can score across the net. In fact, they are very strong in the middle. Poly is basically the Van Windens and a good libero. You have to defend Oregon across the net. With Poly, you can focus on the pins because that is where the overwhelming majority of their sets go. I don’t see the similarities.

Just saying that, cause both Oregon and Cal Poly are both ranked, nothing further then that. Was not trying to compare both teams, player per player. Oregon ranked 18, and Cal Poly ranked 24, I believe, pretty close in rankings.

I agree w/ BiK: please cool it with the faux hurricane updates! Idaho: in researching this team, they are Not overly tall (6'0"-6'4" across the front), but the UH block, and overall D, had better step up/ be on top of its game The Entire match. NOT a pushover-cupcake. PS: as an ass't coach, I was in charge of recruiting w/ one other. There's NO need for this type of level of cloak-and-dagger 'secrecy' involving prospective recruits; just because one cannot say they are NLI-ed does NOT mean that you can't state who UH is lookin' at/ going after. What's the game?
