I voted Oregon, 3-0. This is the first time in my entire life that I predicted another team would sweep the Wahine. I always had faith (not in a Father, Son, Holy Ghost sort of way, mind you) that Hawaii would do well against any team in the nation. This season, I don't have such faith. My confidence in the Hawaii team is at an all-time low. I still love this team but I'm not sure they are good enough.

Have faith, my fellow blogger. You never know when what Robyn, and the coaching staff is trying to teach them finally clicks in. Like Robyn mentioned after the match on Sunday, "they are finally starting to listen to what we have been telling them about blocking".

I think Oregon in 3 against a block that looks a lot different than PSU's did. But I like Hawaii's players who all know how to throw their body after a ball and keep it off the ground. Hope they play a good match. And thanks to Diggin ' Water for starting such a complete match thread. Also, I would love to see Brooke Van Sickle back at OH for Oregon in this match...

I voted 3-2 Hawai’i. Oh well who cares what the probability is I have blind faith and plus no cash involved so why not. I also believe it’s outer body what people are able to do when you tell them they can’t do something. With the help of a boisterous crowd😅.... I think we can take this 3-2

Confidence in the Wahine is at an all-time low. My aunt didn't even talk smack and said she wouldn't be watching!

What's the chance that this match(1st) will be canceled due to Olivia?

Can't believe it's been four years already since the last match. As pissed off I've been at Oregon for pulling a USA this season I'm glad they're not going with the A roster/lineup for this because would be too much carnage. Brutally honest I am, but a sadist I'm not.
However limited in experience and height enough Hawaii players have the diva in them to emulate their best David & Goliath. Hawaii needs to plan and strategize this with intelligence and extreme prejudice, know Oregon has weak points can be exploited as I've been harping on.

What's the chance that this match(1st) will be canceled due to Olivia? The chance is very very low, it will come on Tuesday and leave early Thursday.

I voted Oregon 3-1, one of the first times that I voted for a team to beat Hawai'i lol.
The only thing that they need to improve on is limiting the unforced errors. And blocking. All the hitters have to be firing on all cylinders on Thursday if they want to have a chance to take one set or even the match. Win or lose, Hawai'i will learn about their major faults and their strengths through this match.

Hawaii does not have players to counteract Ronika Stone, Willow Johnson, and Lindsey Vander Weide.
