Whoa! didn't see this coming. Best wishes to Melinda. She will land elsewhere if she continues to stay coaching. Heard some interesting rumors about the circumstances of her firing. I wonder what those are. Interesting?!? Must be good.

Grove City College, an NCAA D3 institution in Grove City, Pa is searching for an assistant volleyball coach. This is a great opportunity for someone just starting out in coaching seeking a paid position. This will be our first full-time assistant coach position, paying $15,000 with full benefits and meals (when class is in session). The candidate will have the option to earn extra income through coaching club and will have the opportunity to earn $2,500-3,500 working summer camps and clinics. Ideal candidate should understand and appreciate the conservative religious experience unique to Grove City. Playing experience preferred. Candidates with experience playing or training setters, or as a middle blocker desired. Responsibilities include player development, assisting in scouting, analyzing stats, recruiting, and ability to run effective practices. Additional duties may include scheduling, academic advising, supervision of student managers, and other duties assigned during off-season.
To apply, please send resume, cover letter, and references to sayleslr@gcc.edu

Gotta give them credit though, this has to be one of the best paid assistant positions in the entire Northeast in D3.

If that gives someone time towards retirement and full medical, that is worth a lot. Same with meals and housing if that gets included like a room+board package. You've got your expenses paid and get paid beyond it. I don't think that's as bad as it sounds.

Hamilton is almost 40k This is part time, otherwise at that salary they would be breaking federal laws for full time wages.

Wrong. Hamilton is almost 40k This is part time, otherwise at that salary they would be breaking federal laws for full time wages. Technically PA minimum wage is $7.25. $7.25 X 35 hours X 52 weeks is only $13,195 a year. A 40 hour workweek is still just $15080.

Any word on Ursuline, over two months and two postings... have they found a coach?

Ursuline had good candidates on campus (last one was March 1) and AD told candidates she wanted to get someone ASAP for recruiting purposes (no setter currently on roster) and new coach needed time to work with team in the Spring....then it was reposted...apparently ASAP has different meanings...

Charleston Southern conducting on-campus interviews. Supposedly, two bananas, one a D2 coach finished a little lower than middle of the pack in current conference, one a former D1 coach from a stronger conference, but in a program that has struggled for a bit.
