They are going to get their back pay so what is the big deal...its not. Its all about the timing and what they owe. Some people live paycheck to paycheck. Or don't you care about that at all? Or is it all their fault for living from paycheck to paycheck? I live a lot of my life paycheck to paycheck and I have been fired and been on unemployment but you don't see me crying. This is a jobs thread so I erased what I had typed. You excuse me of not caring. Not true but I am not making a mountain out of a mole hill. Some people actually get paid monthly so when the federal employees get a double check in 2 weeks it will be no different. Oh by the way: In 2014, the average federal employee salary was $84,153, approximately 50% more than the average private sector worker earned, per the Huffington post.com

So, comparing the hires of Nova Southeastern & Saint Leo and, both are in the Sunshine Conference: Quote. "After an extensive national search, I am really excited to have Brian Rosen lead our volleyball program back to national prominence," said Mominey." And a return to national prominence??? Ummm, things that make u go ummm. Here we go again, another AD who conducted a "National Search". Really??? Rosen increased the win percentage at Davidson by .100. And he coached (not Head Coach Chris Willis) a player to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team. Or is she just a very smart kid who makes good grades? And for Saint Leo: "We are ecstatic that Jason Skoch is going to lead our volleyball program," University Vice President and Director of Athletics Francis X. Reidy said. "It is not very often you can hire such an elite level coach to take over what is already a successful program." In his 14 years as head coach, Skoch, a five-time conference coach of the year, has put together a .790-winning percentage with a record of 413-110, including a 276-88 mark in 10-years with the Lady Buffs. He has guided his programs to nine 30-plus win seasons while earning 13 conference titles, between Truman and West Texas A&M, and 11 NCAA postseason appearances with five NCAA Elite Eight appearances. Skoch picked up his 400th coaching win on Sept. 8, 2018 against MSU Texas, in sweeping fashion. He has guided 68 all-conference players and 34 all-Americans at Truman State and West Texas A&M. How did Saint Leo do it?? How?? The Saint Leo AD did not claim he did an extensive national search. Very comparable huh?

Just trying to double check this. Webber wants one head coach to oversee an indoor women's program, a men's program, and a beach program? It is one thing to do two teams, but three? When a coach stretches themselves that thin the quality of coaching decreases. ncaamarket.ncaa.org/jobs/11871815/head-volleyball-coach

The posting says they will COACH the women's indoor, and OVERSEE the men's and beach programs. Sounds like at least 2 different coaches, if not 3

Sounds like at least 2 different coaches, if not 3 Yes, I can read, I ask because originally they had an assistant position open with low pay, where they were the assistant for women's, head for men and beach. Hard to recruit for men and beach if you are tied with practice, scout and game responsibilities on the women's side.

Hard to recruit for men and beach if you are tied with practice, scout and game responsibilities on the women's side. I was thinking the same thing. However, speaking from first hand experience, this is very common in the NAIA as well as some D2 and D3 schools. They make coaches “full time” by giving them many different jobs and roll them into one position. It’s a lot of work for one person to manage and these schools usually don’t have much $ for assistant coaches to help out either. Does anyone know how much their revised head coaching position that is posted now pays?

But not much with the pay
