They can only have 4 foreigners on the roster during any given game, and they've been subbing Di Iulio from the bench and find her more useful than Sloetjes. It had worked the last two matches, with Karakurt holding her own, but maybe they'll change it for the 5th game. No, but that’s what I’m saying. I thought that’s what they were doing, but Lonneke isn’t even dressed. She was sitting up in the stands in street clothes. Yes, someone who is not on the roster cannot be dressed in uniform. They also can't be on the bench, so they have to be in the stands.

Congrats ECZ, but the series is not over. And ECZ will be doing without Jordan next season. And Vakifbank will be doing without Zhu and Loneeke Slöetjes. Everything is going to change next season.

It's a dejavu for me but Vakif is the Turkish champion! It was a deserved win to me but honestly Eczacibasi was messy; the correlation between block and defense was too bad,as is their coverage, especially for a team that spent so much money... Another title for Zhu Ting! Both American outsides,Larson and Robinson showed very good performances

To me block-defense is very often the key. When Vakif faced Novara, their spikers struggled to get a kill, especially in the first match, because Novara was tactically very prepared. It could've been worst against Conegliano, since De Gennaro is like Zhu's kryptonite, her cross spike doesn't work against her

DeGennaro being Zhu’s krytonite though......I’m dead 😵. Love this!

But consolation to KYK and Larson, they did great too, just coming up short in the final. Next Turkish League season will be a different story though...

If Robo showed this kind of finals series performance during the semifinals of CEV, Vakif would be playing in the finals.

Kelsey's #ad after set 1. Glad to see she's loving it out there.
I haven't seen KYK's game for long, but her receive is $$. Larson also turned up. I'd say Larson and Kelsey upped their offense. In USA games they seemed reliable, but not like big terminators.
Libero play on both sides seems to have cleaned up since the last couple of matches.
Surprised Boscovic has some takeoff issues on the backrow attack.

Saw a few updates for next year posted on Instagram (I think some of these have been posted, others haven't):
- Gabi Guimares to join Haak next season at Vakifbank
- Natalia to join KYK and Boskovic at Eczacibasi. Natalia and KYK played at Fenerbahce together a few years back. Hande Baladin is also going back to Eczacibasi
- Naz, KRob and Brankica Mihajlovic will be at Fenerbahce. I actually think Fener will be really dangerous next year, since KRob can cover enough of the court in serve receive to take some passing responsibilities off of Mihajlovic, so Mihajlovic and Vargas can focus on just swinging away. Naz is also such a step up over any other Turkish setter. - Kingdon and Cursty Jackson are going to THY.
- Olesia Ryklhriuk and Yvon Belien are going to Galtasaray.
Still looks like it will be Eczacibasi and Vakif at the top, with Fenerbahce closing the gap a bit. THY and Galtasaray should be duking it out for 4th and 5th. As always, quite a drop off after those top 2 tiers.
