2nd, 3rd, and 4th are all about three matches: USC/UCLA, Oregon/OSU. Washington/WSU.
Washington: 4th place if they win, could be as far back as 7th place if they lose.
WSU: 4th place if they lose, could be anywhere from 2nd to 4th if they win.
USC and Oregon: 2nd place if they win, 2nd or 3rd if they lose.
--------------------
USC path to 2nd: beat UCLA <or> lose to UCLA and Oregon loses to OSU USC path to 3rd: lose to UCLA and Oregon beats OSU
Oregon path to 2nd: beat OSU <or> lose to OSU and USC loses to UCLA Oregon path to 3rd: lose to OSU and USC beats UCLA

With their win earlier this week, CU is safely in the tournament, yes?

With their win earlier this week, CU is safely in the tournament, yes? CU should be in, but not safely. They have a good resume with a 10-10 PAC record, 3 ranked wins, a win over MW winner, CSU...but their RPI is the only thing hurting them. If they have anything over RPI 50 by tomorrow night, I would be a bit worried. They are currently at #48 after the Utah loss. It's kinda too bad they had to play 4 matches in 6 days over Thanksgiving week, and all were all away from home in 3 states.

Guess so. I mis-edited the file and thought I had fixed the mistakes.

Well, well, well. As I was watching UW football knock off WSU in the snow, USC pulled it out in five sets against UCLA. That gives USC second place in the PAC-12 and leaves UCLA ineligible for postseason play.
Oregon could get a share of second place if they beat OSU. If they don't, the Ducks will be in third place and it would leave an opening for the Cougs to get into a third-place tie.

I'm looking for historical data on Pac-10 standings. The Pac-12 website has data going back to the 2010 season, the last for the Pac-10. In those eight seasons (2010-2017), the top two teams at the end of conference season: were tied (2 times); differed by 1 (3 times); differed by 3 (2 times); and differed by 5 once (2017, Stanford 19-1, UW and USC 14-6). Is winning the Pac-10/12 conference by 6 (probably 7) matches a historic high?

Preseason Poll for reference: 1. Stanford 2. USC 3. Oregon 4. UCLA 5. CU 6. Washington 7. Washington St. 8. Utah 9. Arizona 10. Oregon St. 11. Arizona St. 12. Cal Preseason poll was pretty accurate. Top three teams correct, even correct order. Bottom three teams correct, but OSU and Cal swapped places. Middle six teams bunched together. UCLA in 9th instead of 4th is biggest mistake. Not bad predictions though.
