It's so anticlimactic when the match ends on a missed serve

Nobody bothered to make a match thread, so we're just hijacking this one?
Someone mentioned that rally in the first set at 12-11 or 12-12, right? That was an amazing rally.
We got there late and missed the first couple of points (Chef Kwan's was really busy). We ended up parking on level P3 of the parking garage. It was a nightmare getting out. We stayed for the senior ceremony and then left. Got in the car at 9:00. Did not move until 9:35; though once we did, it was not too bad. Any special reason it was so gridlocked? Maybe I can blame Cal fans not knowing how a parking garage works.... At one point a bunch of drivers started honking their horns, which was not in any way helpful.
Pac-12BA has a replay scheduled tomorrow; overlapping the selection show, I believe.

Meghan is swinging so well! McClure abused Cal's height challenged setter.

Okay this match proves that Plummer is on a slump... girllll what’s wrong Yeah... tis not good and does not inspire much confidence. Plummer did not look very good in the warmup ... and was even worse in the match. Stanford has been on the road without much practice over the past two weeks, so I'm hoping that's part of the reason. Of course, there may be some health issue we are unaware of.

Sat in the car for 20 minutes waiting for someone to let us out of the space. Finally my sister got out and stood in the way to force the next car to wait for us to back out. Then it took another 10 minutes to get out. I think the horns were prompted, at least in part, by some jerk in an SUV who drove on the left and even through a row of parking spots to pass people. I've never seen it anything like that bad.

It’s a short walk from there, past the outdoor sand facility and the field hockey field. Easy in and out on Pampas off of Serra. Very few volleyball fans use the lots around the Center.

Saw another SUV pull something similar when we were finally moving. No one was inclined to let him into the flow. After 25-30 minutes I was very tempted to walk upstairs and see what was going on. But then I saw movement on P2 and it looked like we might be able to back out, so I got back in the car.

Easy in and out on Pampas off of Serra. Very few volleyball fans use the lots around the Center I have parked over there on a few occasions. But since we were already late, I didn't want to have a longer walk -- and I wasn't sure about access, since there has been so much construction on campus. But I take it Serra is open again.

I had a similar experience. People don't realize it is no longer summer, and still flock to Santa Cruz. So I was late arriving at Maples, didn't bother looking for parking other than the structure. Parked on level P3. Like other posters, I watched the senior ceremony, got to my car at 9:07, didn't leave structure until 9:36. There was a constant blaring of horns. I figured someone was being an idiot somewhere up above. That was longest wait I've experienced there.
I'm usually early enough to park at Maples, but I've never tried the Childrens Center, as another poster mentioned. I'll look into that in the future. Thanks for the tip.

I'm going to take a wild stab at the attendance. 3500 I was off by a little. Attendance was 3909. Not close to B1G standards, but pretty good for around here.

What does summer have to do with it?

What does summer have to do with it? Santa Cruz is a beach town with tourism #1. Everyone from Silicon Valley comes over here every day in the summer, and every weekend until the weather starts cooling off. This used to mean, that things would return to normal in mid-September. Past several years, this has meant October. As of this year, apparently it means November. Ugh In other words, in the past it would be a breeze for me to get to Maples from here in November. Not the case any longer. Or perhaps Santa Cruz all of a sudden has become a Thanksgiving weekend destination. I'm just a little bitter that I didn't arrive in time to see Cal seniors and Card seniors exchange bouquets and whatever else they did.
