Stanford would have been number 1 either way. There's been so many years where RPI has been a factor in seeding than not. I agree. I was surprised so many had BYU as #1 seed. I had Stanford as a lock for #1, with Minn 2, and BYU either 3 or 4. Now I have them as a 5, outside chance at 4.

Guess who’s dropping to a #3 seed at minimum?!

This could get messy if this week, Minnesota, Illinois, and Texas go down...wouldn't this be fun !!! I’d say Minnesota is getting a top 4 seed even if they lose out.

Well that’s heartbreaking for BYU. In my opinion they still deserve tpp 4 seed more than Texas does. I would personally have them at #4 now. But we shall see

I hope BYU gets the #3 or #4 seed. They hands down deserve it over Texas even with tonight's loss. They've been the better team all year.

BYU’s seed should still be Top 5.
Really thinking LMU is in. I like their resume over a lot of others. They need every RPI spot they can get — if its higj 50s i might get nervous

Figstats has LMU up to #56. That is probably too far out for an at-large, particularly with K-State still in front of them.

No at-large bids changed, but seeding changes.
Today is a big day for a lot of teams. These are probably the 10 most important matches of the day, in Pacific time. But double-check those times, I'm just copying from schedules compiled awhile ago.
1100am TCU vs. Kansas State 1100am Duke vs. Notre Dame 0100pm UCLA vs. Colorado 0300pm Florida vs. Tennessee 0400pm Indiana vs. Purdue 0400pm Texas Tech vs. Texas 0400pm Kentucky vs. South Carolina 0400pm Northwestern vs. Michigan 0430pm Kansas vs. Iowa State 0600pm Oregon vs. Washington

BYU can finish anywhere from #3 to #8 in RPI. #5 is the most likely while #6 being second most likely. There is still a lot of matches to be played that could change the dynamic of where BYU gets seeded. They are still the only team to beat Stanford - for which Texas was 0-2 against them. For a variety of reasons I wanted BYU to win last night - I really would have liked to see how they would have been seeded compared to Stanford.
LMU's RPI Futures is 54. Their range of outcomes is 51-58. They are clearly on the bubble.

Elliot must be rejoicing right now As are all Texas fans! Obviously, you aren't as your disdain for Texas is crystal clear.

Majority of stats that matter will have Texas higher than BYU. Up to the committee to compare the ones they believe are most important.
And, BYU is no longer the same team they were all year. Injuries matter.

Where do you think they end up? #3 seed? They can’t drop that much from one loss with a win over Stanford? Its more of an RPI issue. People were assuming they would look passed it based on being undefeated and having a win over RPI 1 Stanford. They will not finish with a RPI below 5 most likely. Now they have a loss and a major player out, so the RPI issue is even more glaring now. The only thing they have going for them now is the Stanford win.
