An excerpt from the link: "Hillegas played in all 92 of Iowa State's matches over the past three seasons. She was the Cyclones' libero for the second half of 2016, all of 2017 and the first half of 2018. A 2017 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, Big 12 Libero of the Year and All-Big 12 First Team, Hillegas leaves Ames with 1,477 career digs, a total which ranks No. 7 in ISU history." cyclonepower I don't remember you ever stating in your Big 12 / ISU posts that Hillegas was replaced as libero in second half of 2018 season. I saw ISU play a couple times and never noticed she was not libero, but she did play in all matches last year. Since she red-shirted her freshman year and played last 3 years, and with summer classes she probably is graduating and will look to do graduate school and final year of eligibility at new school if she feels she will not be libero at ISU next year. Crouch!!! Call her now!!! TOO LATE.

She's the best of the unannounced destination transfers officially out right now. Very interested to see where she ends up. Taylor Rowland? She was good to start the season, but after the non-conference, sketchy. But true that she has a lot of potential. Also, it just depends on who needs a pin hitter vs. libero.

Candace Denny is listed on page 1 as an Opposite. Didn’t she play exclusively as a MB with a great slide?

Candace Denny is listed on page 1 as an Opposite. Didn’t she play exclusively as a MB with a great slide? Wasn't sure specifically what to place her as because she did play a good amount of the season at opposite. That was due to Shelton getting injured. But her slide was great which was the reason they put her on the right side.

Rightside hitter Emily Engleken and outside hitter Hannah Puddy are no longer on Ole Miss’ 2019 roster. Neither is defensive specialist Barrett Guttell.

And now - Hillegas takes the cake. Come to SC! Kind of depends on one's needs - I generally think that finding an OH is much tougher than a L/DS. 3 years of Rowland could have a pretty sizeable impact for many teams - particularly if she develops into a 6 position player.

I think Taylor is hurt again, possibly making her more attractive to a team that doesn't need help on the outside right away.

She is a strong, talented kid that could absolutely be a sizeable impact as a 6-rotation player for most teams. Watching her play over the years, she can provide a great first contact and a heavy attack out of both the front and back row if healthy! I hate injuries, hope nothing serious...
