McMenimen is playing and setting very confidently in set 4. Her team up 13-10. Her team, namely McGraw and Sheehan, are passing very crisply.

Team Mc wins set 4 25-23 on a Rollins kill. Also had Sheehan, Samedy, Pittman, Husemann, McGraw.
All done! Team is looking very solid.

I believe Samedy and McGraw were on the winning side for all 4 games. I don't think anyone was on the losing side for all 4, but maybe. Teams were really mixed up. Middles played middle and right.
Kilkelly finished very strong.
I don't expect Dolonga or McMenimen to play much, but they were both competent setters, and McMenimen played some surprisingly strong defense.
I expected more from Miyabe, but I'm hoping she's just getting comfortable.

I'm also assuming it was the quality of the talent on both sides of the net that made each side look like they were struggling. Let's just say that no one looked like they were dominating, although Pittman came close for a while there.
I liked what I saw from the frosh middles. There wasn't a single player who made me think "she's really lost out there."
The Pav was a pleasant temp. Of course it's been in the 70s for a while now, but that never stopped it from being 90 inside. So that's nice.

Because it is against the law to allow new oxygen in.

Agree that Kilkelly finished strong. She is only going to get better.
Also disappointed in Miyabe's overall performance. But I did feel that she played her best on the right. For most of the sets IMO she played confused, lost, unsure, uncomfortable, hesitant or whatever the correct term might be.
Fun to watch how both Sheehan and Litzau came to play today. I was leaning toward Miyabe a few weeks ago, but now I wonder who will be filling Barnes shoes at DS.
Bright future in our young middles. Very impressed with both Rubright and Husemann.
The results for set 3 were the most lop sided. What was the most interesting or some might say scary thing about it, there were only 2 starters from last year on the WINNING team.....Samedy/McGraw.
Hart appeared to be connecting with the setter(s) quite well today.
It is always fun to see how we are all at the same match but how we view the positives and negatives of the game differently. IMO the jury is still out on setting. I am a little concerned moving forward. However, here's hoping it all comes together.

Who was the second libero? Any recollection of the set-to-set lineups?

Who was the second libero? Any recollection of the set-to-set lineups? Generally Litzau. Kilkelly was L in one set where Litzau played DS on a team with McGraw. Set one was probably the closest to the potential starting lineup: Miyabe, Rollins, Samedy, Pittman, Husemann, Miller, McGraw. Of course one or two of those could be interchanged or swapped... Otherwise sets had very randomized players. Couldn’t glean much from the lineups themselves.

I don't think we ever saw what you would think would be the starting lineup: Hart, Rollins, Pittman, Morgan, Miller, Samedy, McGraw. AAMOF, I'm sure we didn't.

It looked for a while like she was not going to play and not just because she was in warmups for a long time. But then she did and seemed perfectly healthy, other than the huge leg brace she always wears.
