For those that like to look at up and coming talent, away from D1/D2 - pay attention to Jordan Lucas (fr - OH) of Los Altos (club: OCVC 16-1's). One of the most entertaining players you'll see, on top of being very, very, very good.

CDM will win it this year and the next. This year they have returners adam flood, nick alacano, max dunk, matt olson. What people didn't know is they have a junior setter and soon to be mvp bryce devorak. So much depth on that team as well Redondo is the favorite this year they have Sebastian Rodriguez JR OH -LBSU Inaki Bustamante SR OH -Lewis Gabriel Miranda SR MB -Stanford Matt Iamaleava Jr MB -LBSU Rees Barnett Jr Opp-uncommitted but is a stud Keagan Benson Sr Setter Mark Marolda Jr- L They are returning their entire starting lineup. Also how will CDM win next year they don't have any pins that are of note that aren't seniors. What about Royal, they have Dean Borth.

I think he played on Rockstar 14s last year - must've been his exception year (summer birthday?) since he jumped up to 16s this season. This vid is from last year, so playing on the lower net. Regardless, very good indeed, definitely plays with a certain flare

I watched him dominate some matches last season in 14s, curious how he's adjusted to the higher net and jump to 16s.

Today at the Redondo tournament mater dei seeded first went 0-2 and lost to a depleted El Segundo team playing Logan’s Sharp(5’8) Libero at Ohtside and he went off and got them a huge win. Redondo looked very dominant and plays peninsula tomorrow morning.

He left Rockstar for OCVC - We were looking to move to Rockstar, and that was a deal killer (it's was far for us, and if he wasn't there, it had no appeal to my son ... Rockstar doesn't have a 15's this year, but a "15/16" as their 16-2); and yeah, I got the joke instantly. 2. Don't be so sure it was his exception year, last year - the libero on OCVC 16-1's is a 13 y/o (talked to the dad at Holiday Classic). 3. I have seen him play, at least three times, at Points. He's quite easy to spot, for a number of reasons (easiest: compression leggings and shirt, contrasting color to uni. Always). He doesn't dominate as much as he did in 14's, but... you need to know exactly where he is, and account for him. Still special, still does things on the court you shake your head at - and he's why we stopped to watch. 4. Flamboyant is one word. Peacock is another. Strutting would be a third. But he walks the walk, so... entertaining is my choice. he's very much worth checking out for anyone on this board.

He was definitely fun to watch. Ben Coordt the year before was more amazing on TR 14s. Haven't seen Jordan play this year yet. I think the Libero you mention is Kellen, he was starting libero on last years 14 open winner as a 13 YO I believe. He might be 13 now but assume he is a 14 for this season. Remarkable he is starting on a top 16s team. I need to check that team out. And TRs 15/16 is not the 16-2, rather the 16-3. The 16 black is the 16-2 and very solid for a B team. Related question for those who know: if a player uses their exception year and is an 8th grade 15 year old, the as a HS freshman plays 16s, etc... what happens senior year when they are a 19? Do they play HS ball but sit out club?

Two exception years, 14s and 18s - but I believe you can’t exceed the birthday cutoff by more than a year. So no double-holdback nonsense like we see in AAU hoops...

I think once teams can start blocking and defending him better, the team will crumble, but that’ll be very, very difficult to do
