...never seen a Loyola team play defense so poorly, both at the net and in the back court. I really want to see Mira Costa, though. Any upcoming games, guys? Costa @ Redondo 3/28 - should be a fun one!

Yeah, anybody know a starting lineup? Don't know the whole lineup, but some impact players I'm aware of: Thomas Ketschmer - OH - SCVC Ben Coordt - OH - Rockstar Jack Walmer - S - MBSurf Luke Snyder - S - SCVC Launch Farris - L - SCVC Maybe someone can shed some light on their middles...? They're gonna need strong play out of the middle to beat teams like Redondo this season.

Mira Costa has Dain Johnson at the middle who should be able to provide some impact for the team and take some attention away from the pins.

Costa won a close 4 set match. Costa not really looking too good this year. Could see Redondo easily winning bay league and taking CIF

...never seen a Loyola team play defense so poorly, both at the net and in the back court. A bit embarrassing, if I do say so myself. I originally didn't believe Redondo had the stability nor maturity to maintain their system and emerge with a victory. As I watched the game, I noticed the passion Redondo had, which was something I hadn't really seen come from that school. Rodriguez (LBSU) and Bustamente (Louis) were pretty consistent at the pins. A few standouts were Benson, who I believe is uncommitted atm and Iamalava, committed to LBSU. Outstanding connection from the two, although Loyola's middles were a bit lacking in blocking. Either way, the ball came down every time Benson set him. Redondo is now becoming a must see for me. Might be the coaching, but Redondo is really coming together as a team. I really want to see Mira Costa, though. Any upcoming games, guys? Bro loyola is gonna win CIF no doubt. They have the best setters and outside. Not to mention an amazing coachin staff.

No Loyola only has one outside and the other doesn’t do anything. Especially after getting beaten horribly by Redondo I really don’t see a chance of them winning.

I also believe Loyola will come back. They are a young team and only haver two senior starters. And they have pieces to get them ready for bigger matches in the future. Campbell and Wedbush were off during the redondo match. Redondo played fantastic Matt Iamalaeva and Rees Barnett played big matches, but I believe Coach Boehle will get those guys ready for the big match against CDM next week and BOW over the weekend. It is still bvery early in the season and Loyola was very close in that match against Redondo 25-23 25-22 and 26-24. The cubs also had a 23-21 lead in the 3rd set. I still think Loyola will bounce back this year.
