Next Saturday's rematch with Michigan is not listed on the BTN+ broadcast schedule. It's been reported on VT that some previous conference matches at Michigan this season have not been televised, and that would seem to be the case here, too.
Do any of you have contacts within the Illini athletic department that we could lobby for a Facebook Live feed of the match? Maybe some Networkers do? I watched the Illinois vs. Marquette match in September on Marquette's live feed from a static camera located at one end of the arena and it definitely beat the alternative of not getting to see the action.
It would be a bummer for remote Illini and Wolverine faithful to miss watching such a critical match with possible tournament implications. Don't think I can swing a trip to Ann Arbor from C-U this weekend.

Now don't get your blood pressure up over a post. Its not my fault your inexperienced coaching staff got schooled by the Rosens. You are smoking crack if you think the difference last night was coaching. Your pins hit bombs compared to our pins. That was the difference , not coaching. The two players that left , didn’t leave for coaching reasons. I’ll leave it at that.

I agree with the sentiment that our back row has taken two steps back when it comes to serve receive and defensive effort. When it comes to blocking - how did you think we would do losing the ALL TIME BIG TEN block leader??? And Ali /JP made for one the toughest right side blocking tandems in the country. Of course our blocking was going to take a hit. The sky is not falling - yet! I think what we are missing is JP’s senior leadership leading the team to close it out in close matches.

I do not know exactly what your problem is? You seem to be fixated with me and Illinois volleyball. And, you could not be more wrong. Let me make it clear. Contrary to your totally ignorant statement, I would not want any other coach coaching my beloved Illini than the one we are so fortunate to have...Chris Tamas. Do everyone on Volleytalk a favor and focus on Wisconsin. The comments you make when you insinuate yourself onto other team's threads are uninformed, unknowledgeable, and unwelcome. Once you fixated on the notion that Wisconsin interns were voting for Big Ten potw, which is like tin foil hat conspiracy, the gloves were off. You did criticize Tamas on this thread, and that's a fact. You are the one that fixates on WI, and your constant laments about how they steal IL natives and some other conspiracy theories with no basis. I'll leave the thread now which should make you happy.

The biggest ovations tonight in Huff were for Madison Chi- a big, sustained cheer when she came in as a serving sub in Set 1, her first game appearance at home, and an even bigger cheer when she served up her first ace as an Illini. Cool moments at Huff- looking forward to many more in the future when Madison gets an increased role in the back row!

So looking at RPI & RPI futures we are going to need to run the table the rest of our matches to guarantee a tourney bid. Wins at MICH are a must and a big win against PSU would help tremendously. If we lose to any of those cellar dwellers, our tourney chances are slim to none.

On making the tournament, this is a strange year with our strength of schedule very front loaded. Our last two regular season matches are against the worst B1G team, Northwestern. I expect the Illini will end up 12-8 in B1G, 17-12 overall, and could possibly win out with two additional victories. So our wins go up as our RPI goes down. If we can stay in the top 25 coaches, I can't imagine missing the tourney even as the RPI goes down.
