With the incoming class and the addition of Mica & Bruna, it’s going to be a dog fight in the practice gym for playing time. This is how championships are built. Illinois volleyball is in good hands for many years to come! I - L - L Which one of those was the one that took steroids? or is it both of them? Still a sore loser from us smacking you down in the regional final?? No worse than Sheff playing hard and fast with transfer rules. And really, accusing Mica of taking steroids??? Too much beer and cheese curds have diminished your mental capacity.

Biggest question is how Quade and Allison can connect. I mean Quade is obviously a huge reason why we got to the final four. Poulter to Quade was money, and the bic.... can we take a moment and talk about the bic? Anyway alot of folks think Quade was only good this season because of Poulter, yes and no. I do think Quade made huge improvement over a season

I do think Quade made huge improvement over a season Excellent question. My observation is that it was mostly Quade's improvements, but there definitely was a "Poulter-Quade connection" factor that contributed to her stellar play. As for Quade's improvements, her work in the weight room and on her technique definitely paid off with noticeably heavier pop on her swings and amazing jumps on her back row attacks. She also became a very solid 6-rotation player with really good passing from the back row. She was already a very gifted athlete with great hand-eye coordination and quickness, but her work ethic and teachability really took her to a new level. At the same time, her connection with Poulter became special. they developed an uncanny timing and trust that was instinctive. Each seemed to know exactly when the other would be or could be available, and they just clicked. Those back row quicks were jaw-droppingly fast and explosive, sometimes without even a single block going up. Overall, Quade will still be terrific, but it might take a few matches into the season before that special connection with the setter finds that timing magic.

Which one is the drug cheat? you're mom In a back-and-forth that included an allusion to "Badger education" this post would have to qualify as an embarrassment.

Not much to be gained in any conversation with an anonymous troll willing to libel college athletes without any knowledge about either the athlete or the subject matter.

Amazing that the holier-than-thou Hillbilly cheesehead Badger fans have yet to express any outrage over the dirtiest player in college basketball, Wisconsin’s Brad Davison. He tries to injure players on the court (latest episode in the Gopher game last night) . But from what I can ascertain from the tone of this thread, violence against men and women in sports is encouraged as long as it helps the Badgers. Some of the comments on this thread toward young women are borderline hate speech. FYI, the 1950s are over...except, I guess, in Wisconsin.

Or, are you a completely unrelated loon? I think that this site is called "Volleytalk" would give you the answer as to why a Wisconsin fan hasn't chimed in on a basketball player. Also, I was curious about the rest of your comment so scrolled back. Violence against women? You pop a bit of LSD today? Good heavens, I should have stopped feeding a troll.

A platypus may lay eggs but, nonetheless, it is a mammal. Loons, on the other hand, are birds.

Bruna Ana Vrankovic just got cleared for next season. Will not have to sit out any of the season.
