Again, I am a little hurt by how dismissive you are of the remote possibility that I could in fact be the fella that you are referring to.

First, congratulations to my favorite non-Hawaii player, McKenna Miller. Second, Alex Ah Sue is on the BYU men's team; 6'4" OH, played sparingly Third, my wife would not be caught dead on a cold and windy rocky coast for wedding pictures.

McKenna Ah Sue doesn't flow off the tongue the same way McKenna Miller does. Congrats to the happy couple. First the Eschenbergs, now the Ah Sue's. Who will be the next BYU power volleyball couple?

Is McKenna Miller redshirting in 2019 to rehab her injury?

Is McKenna Miller redshirting in 2019 to rehab her injury? I imagine that will be decided this summer. Or it’s already been decided but not reported. They were married last weekend in San Diego. Not really frigid conditions! And that’s the biggest bouquet I’ve ever seen.

Why doesn't the Y play USU in VB?

Why doesn't the Y play USU in VB? That's an interesting question, especially since Utah State happens to be Heather Olmstead's alma mater. And they have played USU in the past, most recently in 2011 from what I can tell. If I had to guess, I think the Aggies' low RPI has something to do with it, at least recently. USU won just five matches last year and had an RPI of 250. According to an article I just read in the Deseret News about the just-announced 2019 schedule, only one non-conference match is against a team with a losing record, and that one is Wichita State, who is hosting the invitational that Texas will also be at (and Wichita had a better RPI last year than some of the other teams BYU is playing in their non-conference schedule, though none are as bad as 250). The 2018 RPIs of their non-conference foes: Stanford (1) Texas (3) Marquette (15) Utah (34) VCU (64) Wichita State (86) Utah Valley (92) Boise State (131) Weber State (133) Sam Houston St (151) LIU Brooklyn (178) I imagine that if USU was more competitive, BYU would be inclined to schedule them in future seasons.

I agree, I think RPI is a significant consideration. Glad to see Weber St moving up in that regard. Given where BYU is at in terms of their conference...the RPI has to be a consideration.
