I was reading in the Hawaii chat about Jolie being injured and it reminded me of Torrey Van Winden being out. So I was reading up her story on concussions to catch myself up and learned how it wasn't just this last bout but an ongoing thing, and immediately got so emotional. Seriously what a hard-fought journey just to play the sport she loves. Seriously hoping and praying that she gets better, heals up and plays again because watching her at the SSC, she's a phenomenal player and person I'm sure. Bw just not the same without her ! There is no doubt coach Walters & her staff are working hard to keep CAL POLY a contender despite the loss of Torrey Van Winden & Jamie Stivers. Watching the recent play of Jessica McRoskey & Nicole Cavote has given me hope.

probably shouldn't be jump serving out of a time out. cp will have matches like this ,having to use their 3rd ,4th,5th and 6th oh. See UH vs Fullerton. Please be little my more explicit. Dvorechek had 3 or 4 service errors coming out of timeout after nice service runs. Opponent calls timeout, she misses serve. She has a good floater, if she keeps the serve in then goes back to jump serve after the floater 1st serve out of the TO she puts pressure on opponent to actually side out instead of letting them off the hook and killing momentum. Of course, you run the risk of the opponent siding out but at least they had to execute to do it. In Colorado she had 8 or 9 SE and coaches had her float serve. Altitude plays havoc on serves and if no one tells you to move back a step you can have a lot of serving errors. I am sure this goes completely against GM2 which I do not consider to be the end all in technique or tactics. I do consider them to be the best marketers in vb coaching. CP has lost OH1 TVW and Stivers OH2. OH3,oh4 ,oh5,oh6 have been getting playing time and are not as productive as OH1 and 2. They will struggle sometimes both hitting and in serve receive much like Hawaii has in the last 2 games w/o JR and the other Ore. transfer whose name escapes me. Explicit enough?

I concur with the floater idea 100%. Regardless, of how many aces you have to date,...SE's are crippling and momentum killers. The OH losses(2) are hurting team CAL POLY,...OHs McRoskey, Jackson & Cavorte need to have a very efficient match against UH on Friday. Madilyn Mercer needs to improve her timing on her kill attempts. No one should be able to return her shots when she is on,...timing-wise.

Thanks, but I know all that information already. I was curious where the information about tickets being sold out was coming from. I know some people who were able to buy tickets online this morning already.
