Thank you SO much For the detailed Answer. See you are getting the hang of emphasizing certain terms and/or word groupings: after only twenty eight posts. Good thing you are not a cyber-stalker/troll. Try a mirror! It's twenty-eight, or 28. However, you can consider this the last acknowledgement you'll ever get from me. I am glad I chose to click "display post" to see what wonderful response you have so graciously provided me with. Fellow posters, please feel free to get back on topic. My sincerest apologies to the rest of you for asking a simple question about Nnamani even though I didn't originally bring her up.

Not all that rare- recent prominent sub-6' OH's in the Pac include Cassie Strickland and Stevie Mussey at WA, Dicey McGraw at UCLA, Nji Nnamani at Stanford- and that's just off the top of my not always so dependable head. I think the poster was looking for standout OHs 5-9 and below. Mussie/McGraw were both 5-11. Strickland is a good example (same with Demi Morales at Wisconsin). Did Nnamani ever get playing time as an OH at Stanford or was she primarily a DS? According to the UW web site, Mussie was 5'9", which is more what I remember. They also had Jill Collymore at 5'10" at about the same time. McGraw may have been 5'11", though I wouldn't bet on it- UCLA at that time had an entire cadre of OH's that were right around 6'.

Wondered the exact, same thing. @ 5'9", she makes Meghan McClure (a generous 6'0") seem like a giant! In my memory, I do not recall such a short OH (since 1980's). Angie Pressey was 5-7 or 5-8 for Cal and was an absolute stud on the left. Misty May was also 5-9 and recruited as an OH for Long Beach even though she ended up being a setter. I dont think there is much doubt she would've been a standout on the left for Long Beach. This is where the convo started to get off track/off-topic. I Actually Was wondering 'bout undersized OHs post-1980s. Man, if M. McClure were 2-3 (or 5)" taller? TERMINAL.

Congrats to all! Is that a typo, or is Sarah Martinez really a 6'4 Libero? Sarah Martinez 6-4 Lib. Jr. Flower Mound (Texas)
