My bad, I wouldn’t be surprised if I missed more. This new site they are using for schedule/results is making it impossible to find teams/clubs.

I believe the chart for Round 1 18 Open Division 1 Crossover 3 is a mistake (10) 18 OR1D1P1-2nd Court 12 Fri 7:30pm
WT: 18 OR1D1X2*L
Match 1 (18 OR1D1X3)
(24) 18 OR1D1P3-4th It should be: (16) 18 OR1D1P7-2nd (28) 18 OR1D1P8-3rd Unless it's a special treatment, because (24) SOVBC-18 is a strong team, they give another chance ? But SOVBC could finished in 2nd in the pool.

TVP has a pair of d1 recruits who seem to be able to carry this team through most games. I wouldn't be surprised if the they upset Yorktown.

Seems both Canadian teams seeded way too high, and messed the balance of pools, some pools are very competitive and others have too many weak teams

Mavericks brought half their team. They rested guys back home for their big event.
Pace has six guys the rest are coming tomorrow
Ytvb we were missing two middles today
First cap missing multiple players because basketball
Predators held seed
Tomorrow's teams will look a whole lot diffrent
Mavs in 17 are very good Samurai was solid in 16s

If SOVBC (or TVP) replaced Maverick in that pool, it could hold seed. SOVBC beat Club Lehigh (currently #1) seed in a recent tournament. It seems the initial seeds changes final results a lot when teams are pretty close. Of course, it’s not easy to have a relatively fair seeding because teams coming from different regions and there not many cross regions matches. I guess if in second day the third teams in pool play somehow still have chances to move on to division 1, that’ll reduce the factor of seeding.

SOVBC with the upset over Tvp, I was shocked by their level of play and stand corrected, SOVBC definitely deserved to be ranked higher. However, TVP came back with an insane 3 set win over Yorktown #3 team in the tournament and then won the tiebreak against SOVBC to move on. That pool seemed to be the most competitive from what I saw. Yorktown is very talented but lacks a presence in the middle which became apparent in their game vs TVP.

Pretty cool to see all 3 of our u16 teams from Coastal make it off their net day 1 with two securing spots in gold today. This is REALLY cool and the club should be proud! NFVB being caught unprepared yesterday threw things for a loop from the get go for the 16's. They get their 6'7 hammer tomorrow as he missed the past 2 days because of Basketball playoffs. That scenario wreaked havoc for the 18's yesterday Here who is still alive in 16 Open #1 Samurai Canada #2 NFVB #3 Coastal 2's #4 PVC Sandlot #5 Forest City Canada #6 Maverick Longhorns Canada #7 LIVBC #8 Coastal 1's #9 Maverick Bulls Canada #10 Academy 4 of 10 are Canadians Pace/Warren/Yorktown go knocked out.

Morning wave has been absolutely crazy these past two days.
As future said #1 seed and can am champs Niagara Frontier 16’s forced to play a tiebreaker to get past day #1 and sent them through as the 18 seed. That threw pools into chaos with some pools being significantly better than others and lead to Yorktowne (Can-Am runner up) and Pace (Can-Am semifinalist) being sent to silver.
In the 17’s the only top 10 team to hold seed all weekend is LIVBC 17 National who are absolutely crazy, only 2 sets all weekend where the other team has gone over 15 points. Pace has struggled all weekend even against weaker teams. Eliminated in the 2nd round by Club Lehigh and RVC. Even the #6 seed and can-am semifinalist Arlington Elite has dropped all the way to copper after straight set losses to Phoenix Gold and CSVC.
