Kerri & Brooke wins in 3 against Betsi & Em. Huge plays by K & B down the stretch as far as I could tell. Betsi hubby was live feeding on IG.

Can we get 2 on the podium?
No reason not to expect 4 in the MD.
4 of our top 5 teams competing.

Who’s the 5th? Day/Flint or Sponcil/Claes? I'd go Sponcil/Claes. they are my # 3 team in IMO right now.

Claes/Sponcil have potential and who knows how much they have improved in a year, but I think Stockman/Larsen have proven more. I like the way Kelly's on court attitude has sort of evolved since she played with Hughes, but she is still a somewhat limited player in terms of movement, offensive flexibility and consistency. Id probably take Larsen over her at this point. I think those two teams, plus Day/Flint and Kerri are sort of in a jumble where any one could win on a given day, it will be interesting to see it shake out over time. Day is the weakest blocker in the bunch, but Betsi has been so strong lately, she may be as good as any of the other defenders. It sucks Kerri isnt playing AVP because we wont get to see these teams play each other a ton outside maybe some CQs and we could be missing some really fun rivalries.

Claes/Sponcil have the better finishes, that gives them the edge for me. They've been on the podium twice this year, at The Hauge and Qinzhou.

Kerri & Brooke have to go through a good good China team & then a really good Brazilian team to even make the main draw. The qualifier is stacked with a lot of good teams!! Gonna be a fun summer! Stay healthy Ladies!!

Japanese women and Brazilian men play CQ today. Schedules won’t be out till later in the day. But even so, it looks like they’ll be playing Anouk’s younger sister Zoe in Round 1 of qualifiers.
The Japanese teams all have equal or more entry points than up to the 18th seed and since KWJ and BS are Q5 currently, they should be playing Q28 in Round 1.

Brooke and Keri get the winner of a lesser Canadian team, and Alex Jupiter & partner. They should handle either of those easily.
