huskerjen - Will Larson come back to NE after her indoor playing days are finished? She seems pretty happy in CA when time permits. So does she help with Pepperdine on the men's side or play beach with maybe a shot at another Olympics?
I heard she is building a house mansion out in Waverly which is a hop, skip and jump from Lincoln.

It is already built. When the WGP finals was in Omaha a few years ago I think they (USWNT) used it for an afternoon to unwind. I used to drive by it when I would come back thru but I no longer live in that direction. I am not sure if she still owes it. Your are right, it is quite a home in the country.

I was once driving from Phoenix to Minneapolis and on I-80 somewhere near Lincoln, I saw someone in a BMW coupe with a license plate that said something about Husker Volleyball. I passed rather quickly, but I remember thinking that I was pretty sure it was Jordan Larson.
Anyway, just a random musing.

In one of Robinson’s recent vlogs, when asked Who s most likely to play till their 40s, everyone including Larson answered Larson. I think she’ll continue to play even not national team

The assumption is that she'll be able to start on a competitive team. She isn't going to float around in 3rd tier leagues providing roster depth.

and if she’s nearly making a mil a year now, it’s not likely that 5 years from now she’s going to be offered only pennies. If she can make that much, which is more than 99% of all coaches, why quit to coach if she has the passion still to play?

No idea. Cook told her that she has an open invitation to join the program whenever she wants. Assuming there isn't an open AC spot, it would be as a volunteer assistant (no issue there since her playing career has been quite lucrative). I assume if she did a good enough job and wanted to make it a career, she'd be in line for an AC spot if/when Reyes or Banwarth moved on.
However, I think it's difficult for some successful athletes to move on from playing and Jordan might try beach to extend her career. She has the skill set and it's a more forgiving game that doesn't have quite the same premium on having young fresh legs.
We'll see. I do think coaching is in her future, I just don't know when or where.

She got her boo in Malibu
Yup, if she's longterm with Hunt, who knows how that will affect her future prospects at Nebraska. He's the man in Malibu and she has money, so it's not like they would need to angle for Nebraska's fat checks if they become a wedded coaching tandem. They can chill in Calabasas in perpetuity.

So David Hunt coaches the Pepperdine Men. Isn't there more money on the Women's side for coaches? If so, if they would happen to get hitched and become a coaching duo like the Tamas' wouldn't it make more since to go where the money is?

That was kind of my point. If they're together for the longterm, money probably won't be a driving factor because Jordan is already a multi-millionaire. If she's investing prudently, they won't need to chase checks.

True but have you seen Pepperdine? I think they pay head coaches well

David maybe perfectly happy coaching at Pepperdine. I am not familiar with the school so I would leave that to the VT'ers from CA. So is Pepperdine a private school?

Wait till the end of the next season. If Shanghai wins championship, she’ll get renewed like Dixon.

I have notated which teams will play in the various European Cups next season.
9 USWNT players in Champions League!
Edit: Removed Paige Tapp as she isn't playing anymore.
There is a rumour as well that drews will play in japan. No confirmation yet but i think negotiation is still on going between china and japan for annie drews.
