Note: I did not do any sort of search for Karch Kiraly. Not a stalker. A news article just showed up yesterday in my Apple News feed on my iPad and it was about Karch Kiraly's San Clemente home.

Hey, it's California, and San Clemente is a beach city, so the $3.67M house could easily be a one-bedroom teardown with a property tax bill of more than $70,000 a year (chew on that for a while). He may be doing what a lot of other California refugees have done...get the heck out of there and use whatever equity you managed to keep after the state and federal taxes and buy three times the house somewhere else.

I want to know if Kiraly has hosted BBQs with his USA National Team members at this San Clemente home.

I think former President Nixon used to reside in San Clemente.

All I know about San Clemente is that Nixon used to walk the beach there. And then I did the same in 1996. Just before I resigned in disgrace. Maybe Karch moved into Nixon's guest house?

Looks like they have had it on the market for almost a year and dropped the price twice.

If you read the story, you would know that it is 3,858 square feet with 4 bedrooms. Article said Karch bought the house in 2001 for around $1.4 million. So, his property taxes are likely somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000 per year. As for why Karch is selling, my guess would be that his kids are now grown and he is looking to downsize.

Try shorts and sandals next time. Pretty sure he had these taken trying to compete with JFK beach pics. It didn't help things.
